Has anyone gotten to the bottom of this issue. I've installed El Capitan and iTunes is updated version and still I am stuck at 25,000 limit. Thanks.

I have been dealing with a Senior Apple Tech - more about the mis-matching of tracks - but I asked him in a recent email about the matching issue and the 25,000 limit updates, and his response was "no news yet". So I guess they are still working on it.

Still 25k. Frustrating.
I'm guessing increasing the limit to 100k is about the lowest priority on their issue list. Presumably the architecture can already handle it.

The error message suggests a server side restriction and not an iTunes client side constraint meaning they could theoretically open it up at any point. I was holding my breath but then I passed out and hit my head on the coffee table.

I sure hope that "100,000" isn't the hard and fast limit. I've got ~150k songs in my library, and I'd really like to sync all of them. I'd happy pay for that feature.

Likely to just be a raised hard limit of 100k.

Curious, why would that be? I can't imagine it's anything that a limit on server space and processing power, and that can be remedied by purchasing more...
