where are those 17" HDef MBPro owners hidden?

Received my 17" high res last week and its absolutely perfect. No problems with the screen .. pixels etc. My daughter's MacBook screen looks so small and unusable next to it.
Found the resolution great most of the time .. the HD samples at Quicktime are just awesome. My wife, not at all interested in anything tech, was just transfixed with the HD films on the screen. (Next target is a HD video camera!).
However, when using CS3 Dreamweaver, the resolution can be a problem. I do find the text on the html code a little small and I need to find out if I can increase the default.

can u please post a screen capture, having also a finder window open and DWeaver also so we can see the probs?

Noobie question: how do you get a black menu bar or an orange apple logo on that bar for that matter? Thanks.
Got mine yesterday. First laptop. Trying to relearn how to type. Ugh!
I think the display is incredible. (especially coming from using dual 23" cinema displays) I haven't totally put it through it's paces, but so far no problems.
I can't see any dead pixels. No distortion. Any other things I need to check?

thanx pal for sending, but text is too small, isnt that a problem for you when working? especially in other apps?
ok thanx for sharing your experience but if its so hard to type, then why get that HDef display anyway? its not worth it in my point of view, not if the text gets so small!!!!
The screens not the problem, it's the keys. They just feel different. To answer your question, why get a Ferrari with the smaller engine (if it were available). Since I was spending serious $$ to buy this monster I couldn't NOT get the Hi-res screen. Maybe when I get home I'l take a shot of the screen.
Maybe when I get home I'l take a shot of the screen.personally, i don't mind the small text, in fact, i prefer it. i don't have any problems reading it so i don't mind it. besides, it's easy to make text bigger, esp. in a browser. i love the increased real estate and how many more windows i can fit on the screen at once.

+ to enlarge teh text but I really haven't had the issue.Keep in mind this is the resolution equivalant to one of those 23-24" displays. All that information you are viewing is crammed into 17" on the MBP screen, whereas on this screen I am viewing at work (20" Dell) has a lower resolution so it shows the image full size and I have to scroll back and forth to see it all. On my MBP I wouldn't have to. So, the text really is small, but it's not bad to me.
Because Leopard will be completely resolution independent. Basically, you'd get the screen real estate of the high resolution (1900x1200) while the UI elements (icons, text, etc) will look like they do at a lower resolution (say the 15" 1440x900 or the previous 17" 1680x1050). Larger and more readable but with the benefits of being able to display a full 1080p video without stretching/scaling.
