First Mac here...

You can see my whole story in the link in my sig ;)

Loving the Air!

I came from a SR MacBook Pro. I bought the Air to use at home and travel with, and then I bought a Mac Pro for the office. Perfect companions! :)

Edit: And I sold my MBP

MBA is my 3rd Mac, kind of.. I had a Mac Mini that used to run Linux most of the time I had it. Then I had a MacBook for a week until the screen broke and I returned it. Then I got this MBA.

I have a house full of Linux PCs and MBA is my only Mac. It fits in really well. I can access my file server by multiple ways (sshfs, nfs, etc..) so storage is not a problem.

Replaced a Dell D410 "ultra" portable laptop with Vista Ultimate.

My main machine is a big bad-assed overclocked gaming PC that runs Vista 64 Ultimate. So i am not really a "switcher" I guess. I really do like the Mac OS though... more then Vista at the moment.

When traveling and troubleshooting my clients' systems and networks, the MBA is just amazing!

So much better then the old Dell.

First time mac user. It is my only personal computer now. Fits my needs completely.

Can connect to my 22" lcd + hub with external hdd (and will be getting a superdrive soon probably even though no need yet)

Have a work notebook with WinXP. Was using a old desktop pc with Win XP which I tossed to the curb with this purchase.

my macbook air is my first mac. I used to own a Sony SZ 3rd gen laptop which i happily sold when i got my MBA! I'm using it as main computer and I'm pretty light weight user so I have no problems whatsoever after owning for a more than a month:p

Hi, switched from Sony Vaio VGN-FS415M, Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz, 1,5 GB RAM and Windows ;]. Very pleased with my MBA. Using it for "light" graphic design on the go ;]. And I'll never go back to PC's for sure hehe (just wondering, why I switched so late..., well just love the MBA) ! :D.

My MBA 1.6/80 is the machine I take to work with me. I teach college and walk to work, so it's nice to have such a lightweight machine to carry with me. At home, I use my 24" iMac Aluminum unless I'm watching TV, then it's time for the Air.

I have to add that I've been using Macs faithfully since 1992, desktops and laptops, and the Air is easily one of the best Macs I've ever owned. I love this thing.
