Last Time went with gazelle when I sold my Ipad and got a pretty good price for it, thinking about doing the same now to maximize my $$$, I figure I can live for 2 months without one. Whatch think good time to sell?

As of now, most iPads will run around the same price as Apple is offering them. You could always see if anyone is selling them on CL. My friend got a brand new iPad 2 sealed in box for $400 off of Craigslist.

If you do buy off a third party resaler, make sure your buying an iPad and not a liePad. However your best bet would be buying off either a certify retailer of Apple Products.

As for buying refurbed, if you do go this route, I would recommend going through Apple.

but finding an iPad 2 at a cheap price is pretty much impossible. Brand new they are like what $500 - 600 dollars. You could look for one on ebay used, but the price won't be a drastic difference. Why not get him an ipod touch instead. It is basically a smaller version of an iPad
