Agreed, there's no way to project forward his success. His track record however is such that if I were to pick between Steve Jobs and Tim Cook to lead Apple, I'd pick Jobs.

Sorry for my disappearance folks....I've been busy running a little company of my own and selling things that actually work...unlike Apple and Tim Cook.

I agree with maflynn, I'd pick Jobs in a heartbeat over Cook. Steve was a shrewd businessman with balls, Tim is nothing of the sort.

I think that Apple are heading away from Desktop devices. I don't understand why they haven't at least just kept their desktop devices more updated with CPU, Ram etc, but maybe they can see this market is getting smaller and believe that people will use iPad type device more.
It certainly feels like they are ignoring iMac, Mac Pro for some reason
