Where is everyone buying their Mini?

Does the company you work for do the EPP (employee product purchase program) through Apple?

The EPP price for the mini is listed at $563 for the base model, $751 for the middle model, and $939 for the server model.

I ordered the i7 dual core upgraded mini the day it was announced from apple.com and it has yet to ship. I wonder if any of the i7 units have shipped?

I think Apple quotes three business days to put the system together. I suspect yours should ship early next week. I ordered the i7/750 GB HD yesterday and my estimated delivery date is August 2nd.

Many states have "Use Tax" when you buy stuff from out of state and the retailer doesn't collect it. It is reportable on your state tax return or before.

WV is supposed to have an Energy Star sales tax holiday this fall, but they don't have any Apple Stores. There's a Best Buy in Wheeling but they don't stock the server mini (neither does Amazon.com).

The Apple Store in Delaware is tax-free but would cost as much in gas and tolls to get there as I'd be paying in tax. So it looks like none of my tax evasion schemes are going to work.
