My download is complete and it's now installing...

But when downloading it did "stick" on 6GB for a time, then again right at the end it appeared to have got stuck at 12.13GB, for nearly 30 mins so I very nearly cancelled & started again!

All seems good though 😀

Downloaded 12.0.1 here in the UK in about 5 - 10 mins, seems to have been a much smoother launch day download than Big Sur. Now to get a VM working and have a play!

Initial download failed. Only option was to upgrade from 11.6 to 11.6.1. That's just fine. I've done it.
Option to upgrade to 12.0.1. First attempt was a slow download, finished, had this screen.
Second attempt was faster, finished, had the second screen.
Now the third attempt... 🤣... how to waste/burn around 30-40GB worth of disk IO for their lack of brain

I just had the first screen, now I'm trying again. DL is slow too 😢
