I'll drive by the Uptown Mall (both an ATT & Apple store are there) after work. If there's a line out the door, I'll order online.

Man, I must have the fever, I insisted on buying online before...

AT&T. Already checked and they have the iPhone Coming June 29th sign hanging in the window so it looks like a good one.
Slight warning, that doesn't mean anything, unfortunately.

Me?

The guys there will be expected me. The person I talked to was very nice, and let me know what to expect right down to the text message my iPhone will receive 3 hours later letting me know the service switch is complete, and that until then both phones will work after the 5 minute setup. Nothing like good service!

Went by the Apple Store in Hingham,MA and asked if they thought I'd have better luck in an Apple Store or an AT&T store. They shrugged and probably know less than anyone who frequents these forums......

So, I'll probably try the Apple Store at the Chestnut Hill, MA mall or else the AT&T Company Owned store in Framingham, MA

I am going to go to the apple store at valley fair mall (san jose)
if for some reason they don't have any then will head to the closest AT&T store.

Apple store, it is all about the experience. I am quite curious how the whole process is going to go down in the Apple store. I will be quite ironic if you need to go to AT&T to activate it. AT&T will be getting traffic for people buying the phone AND just activating it.

Voted!

(I have no freaking clue yet. Apple or ATT... I am switching from TMobile so I am thinking ATT to deal with number transfer.)

P.S. They are both a couple of blocks from each other so it is a bit easier to switch if I have to.

I am doing the same thing, there is an ATT store and an apple store (Chandler Fashion Square) less then a block away. I will swing by the Apple store first then if the line is too long head to the ATT store
