Which 3G did you order?

Due to the shipping, or lack of (me), I am wondering which GB iPad 3G you guys/gals have ordered? I am waiting on the 64GB, I have a feeling most people are going with the 32GB or 64GB with the 3G (of course this forum is a small percentage sample). I can wait patiently, but I must admit hearing a lot of people getting theirs "shipped" is making hurting my patience :eek:
Since I am on the West Coast my last chance for this week delivery is seeing "shipped" tomorrow, though I doubt it. Though it will be nice to hear all your 3G reviews to help with my "14 days".

What does being on the west coast have to do with anything? If anything, we're closer to both China and what i assume are the biggest group of Apple warehouses in the country (since they are based in California). As long as you ordered it before 4/19, you're getting it tomorrow.


Anyway

I ordered the 32. Figured I wasn't going to put any music on there, was going to use Air Video, and was close enough to my computer all times that i could just sync and unsync movies when needed.

Also, price was almost 800 dollars for the 32 gb (tax included, of course) and i was not going to feel comfortable paying almost the price of a full blown laptop for this. =/
 
I will pick up either a 32 or 64 GB. Figure I'll regret not getting enough space later on down the road. And I plan to use this like a netbook.

Exactly my plan... will go with 32GB but if for some crazy reason the BB I go to is out of 32 I'll get 64... don't think 16 is going to be sufficient enough for my usage though, so I'd rather play it safe...
 
It's already been reported that the 3G's are sitting in warehouses all over the country and ready to be shipped. Regardless of where you live in the CONUS, you will receive it on Friday if you ordered in time.
 
64 GB. If it had a larger capacity, I would have gone for that.

Unfortunately, I preordered it one day late of the April 30th shipping date. But I'll be curious to see what all surfaces between then and May 7th.

... because in the final analysis, the extra $100 you pay now will probably garner you a $30-$50 premium on resale.

So over the course of a year: work an extra shift, get a couple less lap dances/mani-pedis, don't eat out for a month... OR ... just TREAT yourself with the luxury of having spent and extra **$100 minus resale/no resale/what-evs** on yourself.

There're plenty ways to positively rationalize this kind of stuff, but countless hours of fritterring and fretting shouldn't be one of them.
 
32. because if I went up to 64 I'd be dipping into macbook price range, and I want to spend that money on apps
 
My dad ordered me a 32GB for my birthday!! My birthday was April 22nd, and Apple is now saying "delivered on April 30th" So I am hoping I will get mine by Friday!!
 
16GB of course...
Getting iPad v2 next year which will probably have front facing camera following the iPhone v4.

Only putting 5GB of music into any of my mobile device, will stream my 200+ MKV movies via Air Video rather than converting each one which will take maybe a year, and using Web Albums for iPad apps for my Picasa pictures because transferring files to both Picasa AND iPad are redundant...

I originally ordered a 32GB 3G on March 12th when the pre-orders started. During that month I really began thinking about how much space I really need. I have a 16GB iPod Touch and I fill it up regularly. While I realize that I probably won't be loading that much music, I do plan on keeping around 3-5GB of it on there for trips and general loafing about. The majority of the space taken up in my itunes folder is movies, of which I already have about 25GB there and growing. I ended up canceling that pre-order and ordering a 64GB 3G on April 15th, just before the cut-off for April delivery. I figure it's better to have the extra space and not really need it than get the smaller only to realize that I do need space. (That's what happened when I got my iPod Touch , the store was out of 32GB at the time, so I just got a 16GB)

Currently Awaiting 64GB 3G for Friday.
 
Ordered a 32GB 3G on the first day. Will find a home for this 16GB that I am typing this on, soon after it arrives. I have only filled up about half of 32GB iPhone 3GS.
