16GB "prepared for shipment"

With all of the "cloud" apps that are available, I didn't see a need for the extra space. I can't carry all of my music/movies/photos on it (and don't want to). So This will be my "thin client".

Ordered the 64GB version. So, I don't have to worry about space with all the 1080p movies I'm converting for the iPad, and for the increased resale next spring I think.

16GB of course...
Getting iPad v2 next year which will probably have front facing camera following the iPhone v4.
My thoughts exactly...at least they were in March when I ordered the thing. Now I'm wishing I bumped it up to 32 GB.

In any case, I'll hand this over to my mother to use when I upgrade to an iPad with a front-facing camera next spring.

32 gb.

Anyone else not care about front-facing camera? I never use it on my Mac.

16 and a 32. I kept changing my mind and eventually would up with both. Will return/sell which ever one I don't keep. :p

32. because if I went up to 64 I'd be dipping into macbook price range, and I want to spend that money on apps

My thoughts too. Sometime in the next year or so I want a new computer so I would feel weird spending almost as much as the computer would cost me on my iPad.

Agree..

What does being on the west coast have to do with anything? If anything, we're closer to both China and what i assume are the biggest group of Apple warehouses in the country (since they are based in California). As long as you ordered it before 4/19, you're getting it tomorrow.

Anyway

I ordered the 32. Figured I wasn't going to put any music on there, was going to use Air Video, and was close enough to my computer all times that i could just sync and unsync movies when needed.

Also, price was almost 800 dollars for the 32 gb (tax included, of course) and i was not going to feel comfortable paying almost the price of a full blown laptop for this. =/

I hear ya on the price, though my plan like many is limit my laptop use. Im still on a 4hr battery, not the nice 10hr new ones. I am going to use those 14 days to make sure I need the 64GB though (I would have preferred 120GB's or more in a my dreams), except I am a video editor so I thought better safe then sorry.
I mentioned the West Coast because I have been sent many things from Apple and they typically get to me quicker on the West then when I ordered on the East. Only reason I mentioned it. I know these are not coming from Apple HQ, would have been nice since I only live about 2 hours away from them.
I hope everyone get's there iPad ASAP! Thanks for the reply's I was seeing if a certain model happened to get "shipped" over others.

32 GB. I would love the 64 GB but I had to draw the line somewhere. Apple makes it very hard as a consumer to not want more. I think the 32 GB will suite me well, I manage with an 8 GB iPhone. With this huge screen though I will be viewing a lot of content and I want to leave my MBP behind for traveling purposes so as much video content as possible is a must.
