I know, I was replying to this post:

I just said their is no such thing as a Project Vantage. I am not sure where the OP is getting his list from. Also the Vanquish was recently discontinued. I never said you cannot buy a DBR9, just that it is race car, which I think is not road legal. Like the F430 Challenge.

:)

none of them, get an Acura NSX instead

Yeah, if you want a car that looks like a fast car, costs as much as a fast car, but runs 13s (and that's only the newer ones - mid 90s NSXs are only a touch faster than Saab 9000s and are actually slower than higher-end Camaros and your average souped up Civic).

Seating for 16, room for all of your stuff, and nobody messes with you. What more could a person want in a car?

The only people who say that are people who have bad taste in cars. "I love my Toyota Camry!"

Ah right, a defender of ego driven consumers who merely buy automobiles as a status symbol (the same ones who are polluting our planet).

None of which will ever be as extraordinary or revolutionary as the cars before them.

Speaking of a bad taste in cars, I haven't seen so much bad taste in cars since I accidently walked in the Fast and Furious. Hey, to each their own.

1957 Mercedes Benz 300SL
1927 Type 35 Bugatti
1965 Shelby GT350
Hell even a 1967 Yenko Camaro
1967 Toyota 2000GT

Would all be better choices then the ones listed, IMO. But meh, those are the kinda cars that just sit pretty in your garage and fire it up for a few guest every so often.

But yea, the cars that people listed are fine to pose in front of while getting your morning cup of mocha fropa blah blah almond cocoanut latte

Postal worker, how much does it cost to ship this thread from here to the wasteland?

To the OP, hmmmm, yea, I believe that you will be buying one of those cars. Not. Like you said, "one day". Does that mean in 20 years when the jaguar has devalued into a rusting POS.

-------
I don't want to hijack the thread here but what should I get as my first car? I'm 16.
- Range Rover Supercharged
- Mercedes G55 AMG
- Mercedes SLR
- BMW M5
or
- Jaguar XJ8

:p

(I am only joking for those who can't understand the sarcasm)

Oh, well I was just naming a fast (I thought) car.

If I was getting a zippy car, it would be this:

Obviously some gentlemen must compensate for what they lack elsewhere.

You probably own a large guitar...?

Come on. Cars are fun. Probably most men enjoy driving fast.
If I had the cash I would get a DB 9.... Simply the most beautiful car in the world, and boy it must be so much fun racing down the Deutsche Autobahn, or taking it for a spin in the Alps.

But if I had to choose just one car to own.... must be practical and fast: M5.

Range Rover, they are "balling" but still not too "look at me, look at me."

Most of the jerk off's around here don't know how to appreciate a car like that. The most action those kinda cars see here are stop aholes flooring it inbetween stoplights, or driving like jerk offs on the freeway.

+1 Great Driver

This is my favourite car right here: :)

After selling cars for many year, the LeSabre is one of my favorite drivers! Easy to drive, great power from the 3.8l about 30mpg on the highway and comfy as hell! Did I look silly driving it at 23, hell ya but it drove like a dream! :D
