Not sure if you guys are into a totally wood case. Not the greatest for drop protection for sure.
Today I received my Kerf case in Walnut and I love the smooth feel of wood. Even the buttons are made of wood. It’s not an extremely thick case but very comfortable in the hand and the buttons are very tactile. It has a felt like lining on the inside and the sides. KerfCase.com. Also it’s not a very cheap case, regularly it’s $82. As per Kerf: USE CODE HOLIDAY2020 for 20% OFF ALL ORDERS.

I’ve had that case in my cart 10 times over the last 2 weeks and just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I was dead set on getting the blue, but I’ve also thought about the gray or black.

I had it on my Pixel 4 XL and it was definitely one of my favorite cases. I’ve noticed the buttons are covered on the iPhone version, so that’s different from the Pixel version.

And I’m pretty sure it has symmetrical cutouts on the bottom. Really wish these companies would stop that, but I’ll probably end up ordering one soon.
I have had their wallets for years, havn't had a case since the X i think.. Nice leather. Someone in the apple leather case has photos of a blue bellroy and is liking it.

Just returned the symmetry and tested all the others in the shop and they were all vey smooth/slippery, different than last years.
Also tried on:
UAG Civilian = slippery, mushy buttons, looked like would be grease magnet.
Griifin survivor smoke colour, looked good on my black 12 but slippery and buttons stiff.
UAG Metropolis, actually liked it for a folio, nothing i didn't like, felt good and no flap like on previous versions, also a stand.

Back to the sheath lol. Might give a black bellroy a go, they have buttons now previous used the iPhones and weren't easy to use.

Of those choices, black or gray for the graphite phone.

But then I see that blue...

That blue looks great, but the logo is a dealbreaker for me. I wish the case makers would stop putting their dumb logos so prominently on the case. Its a real turn off for me.

I have the Bellroy blue. Power button is stiff. Overall fit around the edges is bad.
The last one i had few years back wasn't good either and i never bought one since, corners cracked, the seam where leather meets plastic was sharp, and the old version that used the phones button were hard to access.

Brilliant wallets though.

Grease magnet? No.
Mushy buttons? Don’t know what mushy means in this context but the buttons are very responsive.
And slippery? Absolutely not.
Have to disagree, also the orange on the front of the black was terrible, not worth $70AUD imo.

Got my first caudabe case. Love the sheath. Thinking about getting the lucid clear. Is the lucid clear slippery? Also how is it with fingerprints? Does it get greasy?

It’s not for everyone. No case is.

But I’ve had the silver model on my 12 Pro Max since its release and it’s one of my favorite protective cases ever. And I’ve had Spigen, Speck and lots of OtterBoxes. $50 US and worth every penny for me.
