Just got my Apple Black Cherry leather case today. Was between this, a Nomad leather case and the Otterbox Defender Pro and eventually just went with the Apple leather. I was very pleased with the case when I opened it and happy that it was darker than I had seen in some pictures. Granted, with really bright light it looks lighter but these pictures are pretty accurate for the actual color. I also have a Whitestone Dome lens protector I plan to put on in the next day or two. Photography is on point. Kinda makes me want to slap the Midnight case back on!

When the 13 Pro first released I thought these exclusive “light stripes” wallpapers were actually a bit bland and underwhelming- but I have to say 6 months later they have actually really grown on me.

Wow! This looks really good. Looks like the colour of an Eggplant.

I haven’t seen Dark Cherry in person outside of an Apple store but I would like it be a deeper purple rather than maroon - then if it patinas to an even darker richer purple, then I can see that looking really amazing with Sierra Blue.

My personal favourite was iPhone 12’s Deep Violet leather case which many say was closer to the old Midnight Blue anyway - would’ve really loved this for 13 Pro

Same here, never used them until now, sometimes the case makes the wallpaper look even better.

Or maybe I’m getting bored while I wait for iOS 16, lol.

It does have a slight hint of maroon to it in bright conditions. ?

Still a nice looking case though.

You really did something with this combo. Wouldn't have ever put these two colors together but it works so well.

After using Mous clarity and sheath on my 13pm, decided to buy the speck presidio grip 2 again. this time bought the black with magsafe. Might sell my sheath. I thought it was the best feel in hand for me. I still did use my dragon grips and placed them on the back which I thought is a bit slippery.

I think the side grips on these are thinner than the blue coastal (non magsafe) I had before.

Just ordered the smartish gripmumk.

Mostly because it was available on Amazon UK so I knew I wouldn’t be hit with import plus shipping etc.

I stopped using the super thin case after it scratched the bottom of my phone so have been using the ringke fusion MagSafe. But the magnets have already come off.

I’m new to iPhone just got an iPhone 13 pro in blue and love it. Any good case recommendations?

I know the trend is bright and colorful. BUT if you happen to be looking for a black case, the Spigen Mag Armor is one of the best cases I have ever had. From hand feel to durability. plus it has the magnets for wireless charging as the name implies. It is basic black though.

To show how much I like it, I have a 12 pro max now with that case and just ordered the 13 pro max in green. Getting it this Friday. Already ordered the Spigen glass screen protectors and the Mag Armor case since my case on the 12 will not work because of the camera bump being different.

@Big Country has gotten me completely intrigued with his Dark Cherry post - curious enough for me to go and buy it from an Apple Store to try out and so far I am pleasantly surprised. There is a decent amount of richness in the purple hue, and I love how it changes depending on the lighting - I was afraid it would be too reddish / Maroon, but can confirm thankfully it’s not the case.

In darker lighting it goes towards a really nice violet / indigo hue. Pics below are on an overcast day.

So far so good. The pink / purple light stripes wallpaper matches perfectly too

You guys really need to stop posting this combo. ??

Looking good mate, I’m trying to be strong here and not add another case to my collection. ??

As I recently went from Samsung to iPhone 13 pro max, I had picked up a case the same day and it has one challenge that is darn annoying - the left buttons require a bit of effort to engage and the right side button requires considerable pressure. I think I'll be again in the market for a new case.

I have the Body Guardz Ace Pro case.

New black nomad, so much better than apples sticky smudgy mess of a leather midnight case.
$15 cheaper too.

Buttons are as good or better than apples, they have really fixed this from last years or I just got lucky lol.

I have the Apple MagSafe clear case and face the same problem. As I hardly,if not ever, use the volume buttons during calls, I manage with the control center volume , and use backtap for mute.

I have this as well. Yes the side buttons are a bit stiff.

I like the Aspen more as time goes on. It almost feels like it’s molding to the phone as it ages. It’s a tight fit with barely any lip so feels almost like holding a naked phone. I’ve been saying I’d prefer a Bullstrap but the clean back with no logo beats out the in-your-face Bullstrap stamp all day.
