Checking in to report on the Nomad Modern Leather. I’ve had zero desire to switch to any of the other nine cases in my bedside collection. Normally I’m itching to change within a week, two at most.

The case has taken quite a beating over the past week. I buried my new Runner and needed to be rescued by a local 4x4 group. I did some damage to my bumper and the mounts that attach to the frame so I spent some real time on the ground bending everything back into place, power-washing concrete mud out of the undercarriage and wheels, etc.

The phone provided the needed light while in the garage and took a couple of tumbles from about wheel height from me wrenching and knocking it off balance. Got some good gouges and scuffing and was covered in mud more than once and it still looks as rugged and refined as ever.

Will come back with photos at some point…

Iv'e swapped back to my apple leather midnight now it's not so hot/humid here, nomad is a bit slippery on the sides and not real comfy on the pinky v apples leather. Apples is also a closer feel to the shape of the phone with no case imo. just moulds to the phone better.

I can certainly agree that the form factor of the Apple case is better; I just wish it didn’t feel so grimy.

Measured up it's only a few mm shorter and narrower than the nomad, so that and the way it wraps the phone makes the max iPhone seem smaller.

Still my favorite! Sent it in to get silver buttons put on versus the black they came with but this one still floats my boat!

Trying the Apple Midnight Silicone case for my iPhone 13 Pro for a bit. Haven't used a silicone case since last fall. Other cases provide better protection, but the in-hand feel of these are unmatched.

I just got a popsocket brand case and so far it’s been holding up good I’ve dropped my phone so many times with this case on even dropped it screen down and the screen was fine lol.

just purchased benks kevlar case for 13 pm. hopefully gives me the same thinness like the sheath and maybe a little more grip.

was also choosing between benks and rebel gen 3. anyone here, how's your experience with Benks?

Has anyone else tested their wireless charging efficiency with the MagSafe cases??

I have an Apple 20W brick & MagSafe puck & did some testing the other day. Was impressed with the results as they bettered all previous tests using the Apple brick & puck, including without a case at all...

Apple MagSafe puck charging performance (iPhone 13 - with Grecazo MagSafe case - from 0% to 100%) with Apple 20W wall adapter…

5 minutes: Powered on, 2%, 10W. 30 minutes: 30%, 12.3W. 60 minutes: 62%, 12.3W. 90 minutes: 86%, 8W. 120 minutes: 97%, 3.3W. 2h 30m: 100%, 2W.
