Why ooo Why .. As per @TechnicallyTee 's video the magsafe on Monarch is extremely weak so what made you buy it ?
 That guy's own reviews have become a victim of diminishing returns.

He has his magsafe anchored on a heavy block of metal. Most people don't have that thing on their magsafe charger--they just pick it up and slap it on the back of the iPhone or just lay the iPhone on the magsafe puck. Nobody is doing to be doing deadlifts with their iPhone and magsafe 🤣 It's most definitely enough for it to stick to the back of the UAG case easily

I checked that video right at the end he shows the monarch, I did some more testing between this the apple and nomad, I reckon the monarch strength is between those 2.

I agree with everything @TechnicallyTee said in his YT review re the Monarch, not sure if he got a dud magsafe though as mine seems between the apple leather and nomads strength. I wouldn't want/need it any stronger. A cheap case I had once pulled my car holder apart was so strong lol
Like he showed the sides do pull away a bit in the middle if you try but there is no sag at all even on the bottom.

Great grip, feels good in hand and not heavy
Buttons excellent
Lays flat on table no rocker
The carbon around the magsafe looks cool when you tilt it side to side
No poxy magsafe ring like on the leather cases
If you don't like a case with a lip don't buy it

Size wise it's about the same length as nomad leather but thicker which I don't mid as it's easy to pick up, may not fit some car holders though like the brodit, cause the sides go in through the middle it's actually about same width as the apple/nomad where you grip it.

I reckon what I paid $80AUD is fair, $100 retail is asking it a bit IMO.

So you recommend the case?

I do, you won't wear it out like the sheath
Wow, I looked at the pricing and buying from their website will cost £88. That can't be right surely? I see they put extra charges for taxes and the delivery fee is also very expensive.
I mean, surely thats an error? £88 on a case!

Can anyone recommend a quality case for the 13 Pro Max with good grip.

I currently have the Caudabe Sheath which has been good, but its becoming worn out and I want to try a new case.

I have tried the Mous Limitless 4.0, but I didn't like the feel of the case in the hand and found it slippery to hold which is a big problem especially when you take into consideration that the 13 Pro Max is a large phone, so grip is essential!

Apple’s leather has good grip. It’s the case I end up using every year so it’s an easy recommendation from me.

I am in Australia, came over night express delivery with 20% EOFY sale.

I thought Apple's leather case is poorly made, especially this years, and I have read the phone pops from the corners of the case.

I’d say it’s top of my list as far as build quality goes.

If they have worn out a sheath imagine what they will do to a apple leather lol, but yeah has good grip.

I’d have to see what they mean by “worn out”.

I’m using an official Apple leather case « Dark cherry ». Expensive but just beautiful and the feeling it brings in the hands is amazing.
I love Dark cherry on the sierra blue iPhone. I swap between that and midnight and my Bullstrap.
