Which Case Did You Get For Your New iPhone 13/Mini/Pro/Max? [Merged]

Has anybody received a Nomad case this year? Have they changed the bottom of the case to smooth out the cutouts at all?

I'm planning to order one actually.

I absolutely love how they look but I had to send back the one I got last year because of how uncomfortable it was on the supporting finger.

On their leather case line, they haven’t changed the bottom. I was hoping they would. They did change their buttons to floating buttons, however. They are incredibly responsive and feel like the real buttons. I think the Nomad Sport case that I’m receiving in a couple hours has a different bottom than the modern leather series. I will confirm once I receive it.

The Ringke fusion clear magsafe is 10 times better , cheaper too, not slippery, no smudges even on the sides, Matt back, and magnets are perfect.

Doesn’t seem to be available in the UK yet. Will keep an eye out.

Initial thoughts:

-Buttons are metal and are just as good as the official Apple Leather case buttons.

-noticeably thinner than the new Nomad Modern Leather case.

-cutouts on bottom are much more smooth than the Modern Leather (doesn’t dig into pinky when holding)

-front screen lip isn’t as pronounced as the Nomad Modern Leather case.

-back of case is glossy, but grippy when holding the phone. They claim there is a heavy duty scratch resistant coating on the back, but I’m sure this will still show scuffs.

-overall fit is tight and precise, as I would expect from Nomad.

If you use magsafe charger you will end up with magsafe circle.

Agreed. Not sure why they don't change the cutout layout to asymmetrical to match the speaker/mic holes. Yes it does have the microfiber lining. I don't really see any fingerprints on the Lunar Grey. I have fairly dry hands tho. Don't really use lotion or anything. I'm sure the black color Sport Case will show smudges.

Ringke Fusion-X black camo just arrived for my 13 pro max. Don’t usually go with designs but thought this would look interesting with the Sierra blue. Not bad! Really like the feel of the ridged back which also provides good grip. Sides have plenty of grip as well as contours allowing for a solid grasp. Buttons are great and it feels remarkably slim in hand, despite the chunky features. Might prefer it to the Ringke onyx.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t put my pinky under my IPhone 13 Pro Max. I have large hands and keep three fingers on the side. I did order the Nomad Modern Leather case in Rustic Brown.

The part without the speaker holes is where they added a wrist strap holder thing.

Probably functions quite well for the few that actually use wrist straps. But yeah, the likely main reason is it saved some $$$ in tooling.

Yes it does have the microfiber inside. Comes in black, grey, tan, and an aqua I believe. Might be missing one or two colors. Check out their website.
