That Rebel Flex looks sweet with the natural titanium components and matching sides of the phone.
That's interesting. Wondering why they didn't use the same material they did for the frosted then.
I think the point of the frosted was to be all matte. Cant really use the same material from the crystal as it’s shiny
I’m thinking aramid since I swap cases a lot, and the peeling has me worried.
Oh ok cool. yeah i was thinking about that as well but i like the look of the frosted with the natural titanium iphone. Are you going to order it from Amazon? or through the phone rebel site?
Once I do order, it'll more than likely be through Amazon. I keep trying to fully convince myself that I don't need more cases, but thats not working so well lol. The thing is, no matter what case I get, I always find myself going back to the Sheath, so that in itself should be enough to convince me to not get the PR, but like I said, that isn't working so well.😅

Yeah my cousin in Kentucky was able to order a frosty for me on Amazon in the US and it delivers Tuesday to her. It is good thing since she is coming to Toronto to visit on Thursday. If i was to order though our Amazon in Canada i am getting dates like end of January. I guess they are sold out on Amazon for prime delivery.

You sound just like me with the Bullstrap. It’s always what I ultimately land on so I just went with that to start this year. Last year I tried the frosty and ended up returning it.
I say give it a go. After all, that’s what this thread is all about.
Yeah, from previous clear PC I've handled, it tends to have "stickier" feel than the matte plastic. Sorry, I was just thinking that when you said, grip, it meant the rubber/TPU sides. I noticed the star pattern on the Crystal goes further down both sides like the aramid version.
You’re smart, I like you lol. That’s probably what I’ll end up doing, I can always just send it back to Amazon if I don’t like it since they make returns really easy.

Yeah that is what i am going to do lol. If i dont like it i am going to send it back to amazon as well. I actually was able to get one through Amazon Canada with prime late last night coming the same time as my cousin was coming here to Toronto. So I told her to cancel her order just incase i dont like it will be easier for me to return instead of her.
The Sheath has less lip than the silicone so the silicone can actually be thinner than it is.
The Sheath is 1.2mm thicker and you said it’s very close to no difference. I know everyone is different but for me the thinness is noticeable. In fact 2 other people who aren’t interested in cases said the same. That the silicone is noticeably “sleeker” and secondly noticeably lighter which they prefer.
Man, I know I don’t need more cases but I still really want to get the MagEZ 5. And all this talk about Apple Silicone I wanna get one of those too but I’m trying to at least hold off until spring colors.
That’s good to know that the lip on the Silicone is higher, I may be mistaken but I distinctly remember it being lower than the Sheath in years past. I may have to order one, though the way the surface eventually gets slimy (for lack of a better description) is a bummer. Silicone feels great when new but it degrades so much more quickly than TPU, which has always been my complaint about that case.
The magEZ 5 is a great slim case, I love mine, but was thankful I had a more protective case on the other night because when I was letting my dogs in, I dropped my phone from about chest height right onto this little lip leading into my house, thankfully the phone and surprisingly the case I was using survived unscathed. 😅
I love my Apple silicone besides the lint problem, and that winter blue color is very beautiful, as well as the cypress. Good luck holding off 😉 matter of fact, I may put my cypress silicone on today. I’m in the same boat with the PR gen 5. 🙃

If it degrades under a year I’ll get a new one under warranty hopefully. There’s 2 Apple stores close to me.
The one thing that puts me off my silicone case is that it slowly slips when I'm holding it.
Winter time here and cold don’t have that problem. I’ll let you know in the summer when it’s humid AS.
