They didn’t say anything about me returning the buttons so I’m not too sure but if so then I will, if I can’t find a simple workaround. Returning the frosty tomorrow.

I hope it’s not true, I would order any color buttons that would work with this Black Crystal. Def let me know, when you get yours, which colors do/don't work with it
How come you’re returning the frosty?

Black Crystal Phone Rebel Gen 5 on Natural Titanium! Immediately, I could tell that I like this better than the frosted. It’s got much more grip in the sides as well as the back. Looks just as good as the frosted.

Pic 1 is with stock components, out of the box.
Pics 2&3 are with black camera ring, natural titanium power & volume buttons, stock action button.
Pics 4&5 are with my new Snap 4 Luxe.

Only problem is that the titanium buttons are too tight of a fit on the Crystal, making them mushy and difficult to press.. titanium buttons work fine on the frosted.

Well that disclaimer isn't true lol ..I've been running the ultra orange button on the clear crystal just fine all day. Pretty sick look too with the natty camera ring

It's only the natty buttons that seem to be a problem if anything

What camera do you use to take these photos? They look crisp

So after a day with the Mujjo it's going back lol
Two reasons, it's just too sticky, especially here in our humid/heat weather, the apple cases used to get the same, and condom ring showing.

O'well back to the old black symmetry, wish I could get a mouse at a reasonable price here, keep feeling my 14 pro I still have.

I need to know the grit number lol
i used a emery board and ripped the paper off to make it like sandpaper and worked out a bit, sandpaper would work too i would just use something that won't take to much to quick to you can get it just right and not to much. just as long as you remove as little as possible so you can fine tune it so the buttons work without being too loose

Mujjo black 15 max.

Excellent can't fault it.
Exactly the same size as the FW, 7 grams heavier at 37 v 30.
Magsafe is better than my FW.
Buttons excellent.
Lip just right.
Pinky test excellent, soft lol.
Microfibre lining.
Grip is top notch melts into your hand for old mate @macher :) makes FW feel like a bar of soap.
Havn't tested for condom mark enough yet.

If you miss the apple leather case this is the one.
And much better than the nomad modern I tried twice.

Which Mujjo is this? Is it the all leather or the one with TPU sides?

Phone Rebel Gen 5 is arguably the best for lateral swipes, grip, and protection, but it's on the heavy side. For whatever reason though, it feels lighter than it is in actuality.
weight 55 grams even little more then dbrand grip one...
gen 5 has swipes better on top off and bottom
minus- big high protection on edges, aramid back(imo), small usb-c port
so phone rebel gen 5~dbrand grip, or even dbrand better...

All leather, I am finding it too sticky, maybe the tpu sides version is better?
Ah OK, it's the all leather one I kinda fancy. If you wouldn't mind:
1 - is the fit tight? It bugs me when the top right corner slips off easily
2 - are the cutouts at the bottom sharp/noticeable if you rest the phone on your pinkie?
3 - are all the buttons nice and responsive, particularly including the action button?

The 'sticky' element you mention I guess I'd have to find out myself (obvs it's subjective), but I'd be grateful to know the above.

My favorite and go-to case has always been the Apple silicone in white. So of course this year they didn’t make it in white. I got the Clay but still wasn’t the same. So I searched for a silicone white on Amazon. So many to choose from. My favorite is the Zoof. It fits well, is slim and has decent camera lens protection.

For anyone interested / debating the new revised Sheath.

Just got my replacement delivered. They sent the wrong ***** colour (got black, should have been blue) but allowed me to test it regardless.

The new buttons are....meh. They're definitely an improvement, I'm not debating that, but the action button in particular is still noticeably less tactile than other similar cases, e.g. the the Gripmunk's buttons are still superior.

I'm not trying to moan about it, it's better, and if I received this without all the prior history I'd think it was acceptable, but don't anyone buy it expecting a good tactile action button.

I'll keep it (once I get the blue) but I don't see myself using it a lot because of this.

Yep starting too, I don’t think there is a leather case that won’t get it.
Going to run it till Monday and see.
I’m almost ready

I have the Inky and I can hear all buttons click at arms length and nice and tactile.

I’d agree with this. I got a replacement sheath on warranty last week and the buttons are still meh, a bit better but not great. Maybe they sent me the old version by accident! I’m not a fan of the case so it’s just in the drawer not being used

I share the same sentiments.

I had a latest version sheath the other day - The fourth one they'd sent me - n but as you have said, yeah they were improved but they definitely weren't tactile and 'clicky'.

I fed back to Caudabe and told them not to bother issuing anymore replacements as the issue isnt resolved.

Sold it on eBay.
