Phone Rebel's drop test videos are no different from Mous' in my opinion. Both are just using social media hype to advertise their cases but at least Mous doesn't use it to crap on other companies' cases. And besides, do any of us even drop our phones from zip lines? At most it's just waist/head height.
I would say they are different in that he drops them compared to other cases and he doesn’t crap on other cases, quite the opposite when he praises which ones survive. The Mous videos are straight up ads. While yes he is promoting his own cases and doesn’t deny so as EAP, he isn’t just throwing his phones outside apple stores for shock value with a hidden camera to catch people’s reactions. There’s at least some analyzing of each fail point and success point of each case he drops. But again the point I was trying to make is, most protective cases will protect your phone from daily normal drops and that the Mous isn’t some special outlier that excels more so than other cases.

I was going to but then my Apple silicone came in and it’s been really nice. Not nearly as much of a lint magnet as I remember, doesn’t catch in my pockets, lightweight and feels good in the hand. The lip around the edges also seems to angle inward a bit so it seems to facilitate swipes instead of hindering them. I’m going to stick with the silicone for now and see how it holds up.
Three month check in: The Apple silicone is holding up surprisingly well. I have had a few drops from waist and chest heights and there's only one small nick on a bottom corner. It stopped attracting any lint and looks close to brand new. I'm very happy with this case and haven't considered getting another.

How long did it take till it stopped attracting lint? I have an apple silicone with about 3 weeks use and it is still terrible in that regard

Can anyone recommend a case that does NOT have MagSafe? I have never used it and am not interested in using it. I also can’t stand all the cases that show the MagSafe rings on or through them.

I always charge my phone with a lead, as I’m almost certain using a magnetic charger ruined the battery health on my 13 PM.

Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I put my phone upside down in my pocket (not sure if this is unusual or the norm) and with an Apple silicone the top of the case always has a layer of lint/grime on it. I have to clean it constantly and in my experience it never gets better for as long as I have managed to keep using a silicone case for
