Just put my phone in and out of the SlipperySuit a couple more times.
You can see some separation in the plastic seam of the inside 4 corners. It’s nothing major but it is there. Now keep in mind that I’m being very picky and looking at these areas with a magnifying glass. It’s not that big of a deal and I would not worry about it.
Thanks for the information! I agree that the peeling is not that bad, but just annoying for an expensive case (not a $4 no-brand case). The major problem I had was the fit getting loose over time, so I am curious about that too. I hope that they fixed it! :)

I can tell you that the fit of this case is not going to get loose unless you throw it into a fire.

Try taking your case off from the bottom corners. I just did it again and really have no trouble. No crowbar required.

I sold both SolidSuits I had for my X, so I can'try it anymore...

That's what I thought when I got it for my X, but both SolidSuits I had loosened.

I've been lurking this thread and I thought I was the only caseholic
I currently have the
-Red apple Leather
-Black apple silicone
-UAG Black Monarch
-Spigen Ultra Hybrid Clear

The red apple leather looks beautiful but it's so slippery. I had the saddle brown one on the 7 plus, and it wasn't slippery like that. It actually had a decent grip. I was thinking of swapping for the saddle brown to see if it's less slippery.

The black apple silicone I use a lot but I just don't feel secure with going out and about with it.

The UAG is used 80% of the time. It's super protective but surprisingly not as bulky as you would think. It has great grip on the sides and even the leather in the middle helps.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid was just a clear case I got to show off the true beauty of the iphone. It's decent but to me it's just so sticky. It feels like it's dirty all the time. Maybe all clear cases have that feeling though.

The clear symmetry is brought up here a lot. I was thinking of checking that one out, I tried it on before and surprisingly it's not as bulky as it looks. I don't know if it's sticky though.

I also been looking at the https://www.simplycarbonfiber.com/c...l-carbon-case-armor-series-limited-production
case with that alcantara. Alcantara feels so good but I haven't seen anyone here that has it. Link with pics if you do please

Glad this year I’m not the one to blame

Which Evutec did you order? Wood or the Karbon? Really like my Karbon... its a great value for money. Not sure about how well under serious drop it would hold up but most don’t need 15 ft of drop protection anyways.

I got the carbon one

Also. I am no longer calling it the slippery suit because between the textured sides and the soft touch back I honestly don’t find this case slippery at all. Maybe I have dry hands? Not sure but this grip is perfectly fine with me.

Do you still have the sheath? If yes would you please take a pic & put it side by side like your bottom picture to see what the difference in thickness looks like.

Is it more grippy than the sheath?

Soon as I’m done posting this I’m going to jump over to their site. I thought the case was hard not soft.

Yes, it seems much easier after taking it on and off a couple of times.

Do you see any rough seem lines on the inside corners like I showed in those pictures? You have to look close.

I don’t have the Sheath but I can tell you the solid suit is definitely thicker. It’s not a really bulky case by any means but the Sheath is just super thin.

I’d say the Sheath is a bit more grippy with that hard pebbled texture. I personally don’t like that as it feels rough on my hands.

And the rhino is definitely not soft. But the back has a soft touch coating on it.

I looked pretty close and maybe saw a little bit. Like you said though I wouldn’t consider it a big deal. If it becomes a problem I will contact Rhinoshield about a replacement.

I’m confused is the solid suit and the rhino the same case?

I’m still amazed the synthesis is still sold out. It’s been weeks.

I’m kinda pissed for such an amazing company to be over 3+ weeks on the Synthesis is lame. I gave up and went Lucid Clear god I hope it’s Caudabe nice well see in a few days. It looks to me the stopped on making more XS Max cases to focus on XR cases for the launch as they do have XR Synthesis instock

Sounds like the fit is loosening! Just kidding, it’s nice you like the SolidSuit. I really want to try it out again, but I don’t think they changed the X version...

EDIT: I just contacted RhinoShield if they use the new/updated material also for the X version of the SolidSuit now.

I’ll admit. I’m excessively OCD.

I’m loving my pitaka magcase but.......

Can anyone spot the blem?

(My eye went to it immediately.)

And if so, would you return it for exchange because of it?
