Which display scaling do you use on your 14" or 16" 2021 MBP?

While all sizes are good, “default” is the sharpest on the new MBPs because it does’t have scaling. Not that other modes are bad, but some people may notice some fuzziness on text.

Standard is horrible for me because how little space there it. No way I can go back after using "more space"

I'm thinking buy the 14, but the screen is not too small? I using a macbook 15 late 2013 and I don't want less space, so the 14 with "more space" don't looks too small?

I need go to the store and test all that myself.

and no I don't want the 16 inch... too big and heavy for my taste.

I went to the 14” MBP after having used the 15” MBPs for nearly a decade. I’ve been surprisingly quite pleased with the screen size. Sure, I’d love the extra screen real estate of the 16”, but like you I’m unwilling to accept all that extra size and weight.

I run my 14” at the default resolution because it provides a decent amount of content at crystal clear native 2x scaling.

Sounds good, also 85% of time I'll use it with a 27 inch monitor, the other 15% alone without monitor, so I can live with that 15% on a "small" screen.

I've used 15 inch MBPs for a almost 10 years. The 14" is a bit smaller but not that much. And definitely useable if you are willing to use "more space" as an option.

I use it 90% docked with a 34" ultrawide monitor and the other 10% on the train. The compact size with the same performance as the 16" (except slightly worse cooling because of the size) is the perfect combination

The 13" MBPs with dual core were a joke and the quad core ones were adequate but not great

I keep my eye on the 13 Air but! I feel the screen size is too small, 14 seems better and also I got more power (maybe I don't need too much power, I only need, affinity photo, sketch/figma, sublime text, docker and that is).
