"Bad" or not, they do not exist. No NVIDIA Web Drivers available for RTX 20XX or GTX 16XX, both are Turing GPUs. Volta was briefly supported through a pulled/recalled driver, but it is no longer supported in latest release. Generally need to stick with Pascal, Maxwell, Kepler or Fermi based NVIDIA GPUs. Only Kepler and Fermi are supported in Mojave.

Thanks for clarification . Didn't know about the Fermi cards:

Kepler notebook/mobile GPU list is here:

Cannot find the desktop list right now, but basically is GTX 680 series.

Believe FERMI is completely EOL from NVIDIA at this point. Only maintenance updates, no additional functionality added to drivers or patches. Apple controls their driver in Mojave, so no reliance on NVIDIA as long as native products are Apple supported. The current Mac NVIDIA Web Drivers are basically in "maintenance only mode" so do not think they would be changed/dropped from what is currently supported. This theoretically could impact CUDA at some point, but if you're running CUDA with FERMI GPUs as your daily driver on Mac there are bigger issues you need to address at this point.

KEPLER mobile GPUs are basically being EOL'd in April 2019. This could theoretically impact some MacBookPro (and iMac) users with 2013 and prior machines, especially if they run Windows. Unsure if the NVIDIA Web Drivers (that were BETA supported for these machines) will continue to support KEPLER mobile GPUs beyond their current "maintenance only mode" approach in High Sierra and prior. See no reason why they would not continue as-is, but as everyone knows, NVIDIA is not very transparent with their Mac drivers/support plans.

Ultimately, everyone's long-term plan should involve moving to Apple's recommended list for Mojave at some point. Would also recommend picking up one of the recommended GPUs while they are still being manufactured (personally suggest RX580). High Sierra will not be supported by Apple forever.

End of HS support? I am still running EC on my Mac mini. Plus there is Linux and windows and the cMP could be a nearly perfect Windows workhorse as well .

2019 will continue with Apple security updates for 10.12 Sierra, 10.13 High Sierra, and 10.14 Mojave.
2020 will likely only have security updates for 10.13 High Sierra, 10.14 Mojave and 10.15 "Code Name".
10.11 El Cap is no longer "supported" with security updates. Last security update was in 2018.
Most people should not be running OS versions that are not actively being addressed or patched with security updates.
