Which imac for CS6?

Hi, I’m in a similar situation and I’m curious about what decision you made?

I didn't buy a mac. Instead got an external HD and loaded El Capitan. All apps seems to work fine.

But if getting a new mac, then anything non retina and pre 2014 should be ok.

Adobe acknowledges that Photoshop 2018 and earlier do not like Mojave. They’re recommending the 2019 upgrade.

Photoshop CS6 insta-crashes for me in Sierra+ when I close a floating document window. Still works for tabs and you can set a preference to make that the default but that is a pretty major usability issue IMO. Tear off a window, click close and it makes the entire PS session go down in flames.

Also seems to have gotten slow in a few areas in these newer OSes. I'd recommend to use an older OS if you want to stay with CS6. E.g. works fine with Mavericks.
