Tempted by the Natural but it looks duller than last year...and not as close in coloring to the AW Ultra as last year's was.
Desert is on my list but it may just being becuase its frame being gold-ish.

I think desert colour will look bad in cases. So that is the reason why I choose white.

The dessert colour is ugly, but then again I think gold stuff is tacky. I ordered the white 16 pro as It shouldn't show scratches like the black one, and is the least ugly imo. The colours suck hard this year.

I’ve ordered Black since the first iPhone 3G I owned. I did go with the gold Xs Max, but never really liked the color. Black is such a classy, perfect color for an iPhone. I was almost ready to go for natural this time, but I remembered how much I like the midnight MacBook Air.

Exactly but right now I will switch to not premium colour but to white :) .. on the other hand I ordered two - second desert - still do not know if I keep white or .. :)
“‘Premium color’?? That doesn’t really make sense. It's not ‘premium’ by any definition, ‘new color’ is the right word.

What colour? There is no colour. 😂

I would get the gold if I was going caseless. Maybe natural.

With a case, I’d have to go with white or black. The natural doesn’t go with anything.

Is there any particular reason you need to nitpick? Clearly, you understand the meaning.

The word premium can refer to something that is of superior quality, high-end, or exclusive. Premium items are typically perceived as offer greater value for customer.
I sell new iPhones annualy and the new colour is always more demanding and sell the best. So we can say that new colour is “premium” because it is exclusive.

I went for the Natural Titanium - I like the grey look as a change, even though it's boring. I'm switching from a 13 Pro in White, which I like but want something different. I had the 12 Pro Gold which I loved but not ready for a gold color again. I really wish there was a deep red Pro.

I going from a 13 pro max sierra blue to 16 pro max black titanium. Wish I had another cool blue like color to jump to but oh well.

It wasn’t nitpicking, and it wasn’t even a serious post—just a casual response because I don’t like that color!
But since you brought up the meaning of ‘premium,’ I gotta say it means high-end or superior quality, “exclusive” can sometimes be implied when describing premium products (as higher-end goods are often limited or marketed to a specific audience), “premium” by itself does not directly mean “exclusive.”
That’s why calling a color that is same price as all others and not limited edition or anything special ,‘premium’ doesn’t really make sense.

For me it is premium first two month of launch before they are available on the market. Premium can have more meanings.

The above sentences about “premium” was described by ChatGPT4o, I only copied the text.
