Agreed. Still have mine as a backup, though. I know this is like swearing in church, but it’s the very first iPhone I’ve found interesting 🙈 And I’ve been using smartphones for 20 years now (Symbian OS, Android, BlackBerry 10).iPhone x. The materials, build, fit and finish, and full screen design set the tone since. It felt expensive in your hand.. still miss that phone.
I also still have my BlackBerry Passport (don’t worry, nobody else has heard of it either). But that one wasn’t about looks at all - it was about pure productivity! No other phone I’ve owned since could hold a candle to it when it comes to productivity. It was so far ahead of its time that some of its features - particularly the touch sensitive physical keyboard which could handle 3 languages at the same time seamlessly - cannot be matched today. Having to constantly press the ‘globe’ while typing on the iPhone remains my major gripe with it. There are many multilingual people in this world, and more than half of the world's population speaks more than one language, so I really don’t see why Apple (and others) aren’t able or willing to accomplish what BlackBerry did 10 years ago! With the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017, Apple got the new swipe interface from BlackBerry 10 - although not as smooth, and lacking the Hub, so why they couldn’t have copied the amazing multilingual keyboard as well is beyond my comprehension. /end off-topic rant.
