I'm thinking of buying either the Thule Gauntlet or Pelican 1075cc for my new Macbook M1 pro. Any other cases/sleeves you'd recommend for some serious protection?

I got the minimal Slip Sleeve with PerformaKnit from Incase. I also got their City Dot Backpack when I have to carry other things. But it turns our I rarely ever will need to carry the power supply.

My InCase shell (clear) arrives on Monday. I already have a Thule Gauntlet case that will fit this Pro, so I'm set on the case side of things.

I have the Amazon Basics 13.3" sleeve: it's fine, and an absolute bargain, but a bit bigger than it needs to be for the MacBook Air.

How's the Thule Gauntlet? Would you recommend it as I'm tossing between that and a Pelican case

If you want style and protection from your sleeve, I highly suggestion Woolnut.

Holy hell those are expensive, but very nice! Can’t justify for a base MBA, but they look awesome.

I bought it for my 13" MBA that I'm replacing with this M1 Pro. I like it because I can put the Mac in there and place that in a larger bag or laptop backpack. You can also open the Mac without removing the case because of how the Gauntlet is designed. The Pelican cases are great if you will be carrying the laptop into excessively dusty/hot/wet conditions, but I find them a bit impractical for general usage.

Thanks! Ya I think Thule Gauntlet might be good for my usage honestly. The only issue I have with it was the interior padding didn't feel like it was sufficient?

These are nice but I dont know about it being protective and it's way too expensive! You'd have to buy their portfolio range for some protection. Have you guys seen TomToc? It's cheap and looks more protective! Just not as beautiful as woolnut lol

Don't make fun of me, but I bought the Apple brand leather sleeve for my 13" M1 MBA. It was a splurge, and the sale of my iPad Pro/Magic Keyboard/Apple Pencil largely covered the cost. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I just got my TomToc from Amazon a day ago. It's great, and was a hair less than $20!

We don't pass judgement here, always buy what you want!
