Ignore functionality, app stores, available devices, etc.

In your opinion, which mobile OS has the best aesthetics?

Out of the box,
WP8.1 is the best looking.
iOS8 comes in second.
Blackberry 10.3 in third.

Now the reason I stated "Out of the box" is because you can easily customize Android Lollipop/KitKat/Jellybean to look better than all three.

I'd argue that because of a lack of continuity across some skins and with some launchers that Android is less beautiful.

Lollipop out of the box. It just looks really pretty and it's generally lessened my need to customise, apart from the keyboard. SwiftKey still beats Google keyboard imo.

I like the look of Blackberry 10.3's UI, but they all just about look the same in my opinion.

That's something manufacturers have already greatly improved on. I can't speak about 3rd party launchers though, as I rarely use them.

Android 5.0 for now. Until the non Google apps get updated, it's going to be a mess of UI's.

a better place
But, of course, if it were objective there would be no point in asking opinions.

I know, but I meant it's even more subjective than normal :) like I say my own personal preference could change daily based entirely on my mood that day so it makes it too hard to call.

Heck at one point I thought webOS and meego were beautiful too :)

I actually really like the look of windows. I just worry about certain google apps and compatibility. For anyone with a windows device, is hangouts available and are push notifications reliable?
