Which Android phone has the best battery life? I remember my iPhone 4 having the best battery, but sadly the iphone 5 does not live up to that and from what im reading online neither does the 6. Which phone would you guys say gets the best battery life? I was interested on the Moto x but it only has a 2300 and some people say is not that good( and no wifi calling). From I see from a lot of people the Nexus 6 is great. I have t-mobile if that makes any difference and i would like it to have wifi calling but its not a must. I would like a phone that i can have on at least 8 hours straight before going off. My main uses are Phone, Texting (imessage/whatsapp) facebook, and browsing. I used to play a lot of games on my iphones before but now sadly i dont any more because of the battery i would like to be able to play again without worrying so much. Thanks in advance:cool:
*currently I have an iphone5*

iPhone 6+.

Well I forgot to mention i would be buying this phone cash i always do that.
The iphone 6+ is not worth the money, Even thought I dont use a lot of memory i dont like having the feeling of needing more, I need 32GB thats it no more no less. But theres no 32 anymore only 64. 750 plus 100 plus tax equals almost if not more than 900 dlls. ill rather get a nice android and a ipad or something else
Lets keep this around 450-550? and its less even better, im also would look into buying a used phone from CL lol

Android wise battery life - Xperia Z3 compact for that budget - followed by Z3 standard.

Windows Phone - Lumia 1520

I second the Z3 Compact and the Z3 if you are only using T-Mobile those are your choices for best battery. If you want to venture in phablet size then the Nexus 6 would be a good choice as well.

Let me also throw out there the HTC One M8, while not as good as my Note 4 or iPhone 6 plus, its probably the best battery life I got on a normal sized phone.

Best Android battery life phone would be the OnePlus One, especially rooted with a custom kernel, I was getting 8h Screen On time. The OPO was insane for great battery life.

The iPhone 6 Plus was also a battery beast.

My Nexus 6 running Chroma ROM isn't too bad, I get like 5.5h to 6h Screen On time.

My Moto X got 4-5 hours SOT at best. The standby time was not very good either. Battery life was the biggest weakness of both generations of that device.

The Xperia Z3 Compact, the Oneplus One and the Moto E (2015) all have excellent battery life. Depending on what you're after for size, features and price those would be good ones to look at.

The OnePlus One can be bought brand new for $299, it really is a nice little phone. And gets phenomenal battery life. Is super fast smooth, runs a near stock Android like OS.

Only drawbacks being the Camera is mediocre, and the display is OK, nothing like a Galaxy screen.

If size is no issue then look at the Galaxy Note 3:

-32GB +MicroSD Expansion
-5.7inch HD1080P Display
-3200mAh battery
-SPen with its very unique feature set
-Snapdragon 800 CPU which can handle majortiy of HD games plus a huge display to play them on.
-Very good 13MP Camera with 4K@30FPS Video recording.

This should suit your needs if the size of the phone doesn't bother you.

You can also look at: Sony Xperia Z3, Huawei Mate 7,Htc One (M8), and Samsung Galaxy S5 or even the LG G3.

I'd say Droid Turbo. That thing is a beast!

Is that one of the thicker phones Motorola made for Verizon with much bigger batteries? I wish more companies did that. 2 day battery life is worth a couple of mm extra. Not for everyone but for some.

Yeah, it has a 3900 mAh battery I believe. It is said to last 48 hours on a charge, plus it has QuickCharge 2.0 so you can chrage it up extremely fast.

In my personal experiences from best to worst:

iPhone 6+
HTC One M8
Xperia Z3C
Galaxy S6
HTC One M9
Moto X 2014

(This really just includes devices that would be viable purchases today)
