If your spending that much to have a iphone, why then so cheap on your teenager? Im sure he would also like that same attention! My old phone is iPhone 13 Pro, which I will be trading in (probably via wireless carrier) for iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra later this year.
Perhaps because he/she is earning the money and therefore the right to some perks that the teenager does not have? If the teenager wants something special, he/she should perhaps earn some money to pay for it? I have always given my kids what was needed, but did not pamper them with luxury items. They should make their own way. Support yes, pampering no.If your spending that much to have a iphone, why then so cheap on your teenager? Im sure he would also like that same attention!

I agree with this, they should be happy with what they get, if they want more, find a paper route or something. It’s not on the parents to stretch their own budget to appease them.Perhaps because he/she is earning the money and therefore the right to some perks that the teenager does not have?
