This has come up before in other threads and there is no point in telling someone to just Google for an answer. It’s conversational to ask questions. No matter how silly or inane one might think they are, telling them to just look it up for themselves is patronizing and kinda rude, IMO. Anyone who has found themselves here are well aware the power of Google lays at their fingertips.
All that being said, The Night Manager is a great adaptation and further evidence that limited series are the best way to adapt a book faithfully.
My final thought: In a busy forum it's rude to not do the minimum amount of work yourself, especially when the answer you get probably won't even keep you from having to do that work yourself anyways.

If there had been a joke, a comment, anything "social" also in his post, then it wouldn't have bothered anyone; but simply posting "...on?" isn't conversational, nor will it lead to an answer useful to the poster or the community.

That's where I find the rudeness.

I can’t convince you that ascribing ill behavior to a simple one worded question is a bit unfair. I will point out, as you did earlier, that this forum is comprised of a diaspora of people from all over the world. There is nothing to be gained by assuming the worst of someone’s intentions when it’s just as easy to give a little latitude. We all come in as we are, maybe starting our day or ending it, but no one really knows what the other person on the other end of the conversation is really feeling/intending unless they spell it out. Pachyderm has not given any indication as far as I can see that he takes for granted the other people in this forum. Kindness is all I’m talking about.

Many ***** on it, many enjoy it...

I happen to have enjoyed it...!

Hoping for a season 4, but who knows; apparently a lot of the reshoots they did for season 3 were to cut out pointers towards season 4 & to give the season 3 finale a clean non-committal ending...?

I did a search of this thread for "Patriot" (an Amazon Original series) and was surprised not to find any mention of it.

If you like Coen brothers-esque dark comedy, you'll almost certainly enjoy "Patriot." It has a stellar cast of leading and character actors, including Michael Dorman ("For All Mankind'), Kurtwood Smith ("RoboCop," "That 70s Show"), Terry O'Quinn ("Lost") and Debra Winger ("An Officer and a Gentleman," "Terms of Endearment").

It ended after two seasons, but the storyline does get wrapped up rather neatly.

What show is that in reference to?

Was replying to the post directly above; so talking about Star Trek: Discovery...
It seems that season 4 for it has been approved a few months ago and work on it is already underway.

Back to the final season of Stargate:Atlantis

And now a detour to Camp Cretaceous. 7.4/10 on IMDB. I am not the target audience. They took all the worst aspects of the movies, and added new kids. My dino-loving son is eating it up.

Just took a look at the first 4 episodes of The Mandalorian. Eh, it's ok I guess. I'm not completely sure what the fuss is about just yet. I like it well enough though.

Only made it through 2/3's of the first episode of Wandavision. Not impressed. I'll go back to it later.

Stick with them both, they get better...!

I would watch both seasons of The Mandalorian, and maybe wait until all episodes of WandaVision are out, then you can binge WV like a feature film...!

I'd say the other way around, in both cases…

Mandalorian was great from the beginning, and I'm questioning the style of where it's heading; it's going way less western, and more Star Wars. Turning it from something unique in the Star Wars universe, to just more of the same as the other stuff. Like a child starting a story small, and then suddenly EVERYTHING is included in the most bombastic way possible.

Wandavision has so far fitted the once/week format quite well, because of the separate style of each episode; as the uniqueness of each episode slowly fades away for the overall arc, then it feels like it's going to turn more bingeworthy.

I’m currently watching season 5 of The Expanse. Great show, much more scientifically accurate than other sci-fi shows.
Love this series as well. Big fan of the book series it’s based upon—show does a good job representing the original content.

Just finished the last 4 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery on Netflix UK. Sagged a bit in the middle but the ending was really good. Series just keeps getting better.
Just finished it myself with pretty much the same sentiment. Overall an excellent season.
