I started the new season of The Boys and it’s not great…maybe it’s too repetitive and the side stories are very boring and predictable. I really liked few years ago the first season, though. Maybe it’s too many episodes. And what happened to the face of Starlight, very sad to see she had plastic surgery.
I think the seasons have been steadily going downhill as they push more and more their political ideology. Bright spot I think is the guy who plays Homelander, think he does an amazing job as the mentally unstable superman.

Completely agree about the Starlight actress as well, it is more sad that a beautiful woman thought she had to go and get work done for some strange beauty standard that really just makes women look ugly.

I actually watch it only for HOMELANDER. Antony Starr is fantastic, I discovered him in Banshee, one of my all time favorite show. It was amazing, lots of action, violence and sex. The best ingredients for a good time.

The real star of the show is the scenery, it's set in a bleak area of Wales (Cambrian Mountains).
agreed. welsh beauty.
this is pretty good also …

View attachment 2403387After recommending it to @SteveManila1960 I started watching Hinterland again. It's on iPlayer at the moment if you are in the UK.

Thank you for this. Have watched 1 1/2 episodes. Seems to be quite good.
I like how he seems to have acquired a falling-down stone house and is living in a demountable, presumably while restoring the big house.

Reminds me of Martijn Doolaard on YouTube, who lived in a tent while restoring an Italian stone farmhouse. But without the murders...

Just started a rewatch of Stargate Universe. I am actually liking it so far. I remember really liking season 2 and Ming Na Wen going from Stargate Universe to Agents of Shield gave her much more energy, but I'm liking her character, or what little we've seen of it so far, quite a bit. Looking forward to revisiting this series in the next month.

-Rewatching Games of Thrones, it will take some time.
-Fallout, haven't got any grip of it yet.
-Presumed Innocent, just started with it, intriguing.

Not binging though.
Nah, don't want to dig into looong series now, so GoT have to wait a bit to be re-watched.
Wan't to be at least relatively engaed when I re-watch it.

-But Constellation fits my mood - just 1 seaon as it was cancelled by Apple.
-Presumed Innocent, also just 1 season out, but seems to get more.
-Fallout, also only 1 s. out.

It's good.

Liked this series for seasons 1-3 so re-watched the season 3 finale last night to remind me where things were left. Then saw the first episode of season 4, which takes place 6 years later. Took awhile to explain where each character is in their lives after that time has elapsed with a tease that “the band is getting back together” towards the end. Lots going on plot-wise but a bit of a snoozer if I’m honest. Hoping to see this improve. Without their powers, the team is a tad annoying.
