Brilliant. Loved it.
What I didn't like is the release in two parts. The first feels like a setup and too long for what it is. The second had much better pacing and wrapped everything up. Unfortunately we'll see the same for the final season of Stranger Things, only it will be released in three parts. Netflix is too greedy trying to make people subscribe longer.
Just finished 7 seasons of Bosch. Now starting Bosch: Legacy
Finished it last night. I didn't really like seasons 1 and 2. Some good episodes, most bad. Finally things got a lot better with season 3 after a rough start. I hope they can keep it up and not go back to where they started. I expected a little more background on the Vezda and while it worked for the final episode, it left many questions unanswered.

Yesterday's was the seventh episode so I imagine it will soon be the season finale. No idea how many episodes they've made though.
A quick look at IMDB tells me there will be eight episodes...

For a second time I have been indulging on the following: "Joy Of Life" seasons 1 and 2, aired at Rakuten Viki for a couple of years already. Hopefully another season of Joy Of Life is in the future, since these are two examples of outstanding filmmaking.
There is one thing I dislike about Viki, and that is not being able to have more than one profile per account, which in turn makes it difficult for family member, a couple, and so on, to watch their favorite individual shows under their own profiles.

There is only one season of 1883 and this show is in my TOP5 of all time, truly amazing. Maybe you’re confusing with 1923…not so great unfortunately.
The new Dexter is great, I really enjoyed it. Of course, lots of stupid plot holes but it has always been the case.
For Alien, this is so disappointing. Only one episode is worth watching, the one entirely in the ship. The kid thing is really bad and the acting worse.
Let’s see how they finish next week but I don’t think it will be renewed.

I thought season two of 1923 was better than season one...
I've got a few i'm working through:
Netflix: Untamed (but I'm pacing myself as it's only 6 episodes)
Disney+: Alien Earth (I'm a week behind)
Disney+: new Season of Only Murders-starting tonight (by the time we sit down in an evening, need something easy!)
Ongoing (my library): Supernatural-super cheesy I know, but it was something me and my now wife started watching back in 2005 so it's an easy watch. We're on Season 10, think this is something like the third time we've watched it all through...

Slow Horses new season, the usual brilliant gritty opening episode. Wonder who will be killed off this time? Certainly keeps it interesting killing off one of the main characters every season lol.

After I recently watched the two movies, I thought it's a good time to watch the series. I've enjoyed it, very different from the movies, there's potential.
Finally caught up on Season 2. Excellent. Not as good as the first though. Dina and Ellie is not working the same way as Joel and Ellie. A little short maybe, only half way through the game if I remember correctly.
Was really looking forward to this. Almost didn't finish. This is just bad fan fiction written by a 12 year old on reddit using AI with the prompt "write Alien series on earth". It's cheap, poorly acted and a bad story... until episode 4. The first 3 episodes are some of the worst TV I've ever seen. Luckily it get's much better from episode 4 to the end. It's still not really good, but much better than the beginning. It has massive plot holes and many things don't make sense at all. In the core, it could have been the back story for the cooperations in the Alien universe. They had to use the Xenomorph to draw viewers. It ends on nothing, except potential to do it right in Season 2.
The Last Of Us lost me when they killed off Joel. No I know nothing about the game and am not a gamer. I liked the TV series.
Same in the game, early on. That scene in the series is somewhat accurate, with a few changes. Tommy was with Joel. The group with Abby was larger. His final death blow was with the golf club to the head instead of stabbing. Ellie being held down threatening Abby to kill her is identical.
It does work better in the game. It sets the motivation for Ellie to search for Abby and kill her. But it feels a little pointless in the series. Her hate and thirst for revenge is much stronger in the game. Allie torturing Nora in the basement shows little of the emotions in the game.
But overall, it's never been about Joel. It's always been Ellies story. In the first game and Season 1 of the series, we just see the story through his eyes. His story was told and finished, he lost his daughter, moved on with hate and anger, found a purpose again, became a father again and learned to live and love again.
Joel's father told him "If you ever have one of your own, I hope you do a little better than me". He says the same to Ellie and the story unfolds from there. Ellie is experiencing the same feelings and goes through the same things as Joel. We'll have to wait and see how they wrap everything up in Season 3, which should be the rest of the second game. But then again, there might still be a third game eventually if the story is good enough.

I’m doing a rewatch of 24, and already in s01e02 there is the quote of the season! I love it. 😊
Just started to watch The Morning Show, wow! I thought it would be boring which is why I ignored it for so long, but I never knew the writing would be THIS good! Jennifer and Reese smash it out the park, but the writing they are given is just superb.
Won’t be a third game for a long while if at all. Druckman said he has poor it to bed now, they have their new space adventure coming out and I guess will work on that, I’d love a new Uncharted but doesn’t seem like it’s happening anytime soon.

Pretty much, it gets better and grows on you, that last line of the last show was pretty good! It does have potential so let’s see where it goes. Although I don’t think a season 2 has been approved yet?
