First your dad ordered it and now you ordered it. Did you buy a Dell buy were too embarrassed to let anyone know?

Jericho2550 said:Well the Dell laptop arrived on Monday, I ordered it on Thursday, so it took 2 business days to get here, yes, it is really ugly, but that's an opinion, and I hated the feel, but for $1400, with FREE SHIPPING, and it got here so fast, a Core2Duo laptop...and it's flawless, no dead pixels, no over heating, no complaints.
Just thought you all would want an update
lmalave said:Errr...what does it matter. You do know the Inspiron/Latitude difference is mostly branding, right? I'd say on paper the Inspiron as configured seems quite powerful. What exactly would the $2200 Latitute have that this Inspiron wouldn't have?

Jericho2550 said:well it is my dad's, I made the order though, why would I be embarrassed to let anyone know? it's not like it's a dildo or something, it's a very powerful machine that ALREADY has Core 2 Duo and was delivered within 2 business days
Why do you think the "dell guy" that was doing the commercials got busted for pot? Most likely it was the fact that he was lying to millions of people about how good Dells are and he had to be high to actually do it! Just my 2 cents..............risc said:First your dad ordered it and now you ordered it. Did you buy a Dell buy were too embarrassed to let anyone know?

dmw007 said:Same here, if it does not run Mac OS, it is of little importance to me.
Jericho2550 said:I hope I don't get flamed, but this is really interesting.
jaduffy108 said:dmw007 and Chundles..seriously...seek help. Immediately. Stop spewing such mindless nonsense. Really scary...because if you apply the same degree of "critical thinking"<ahem> to actual **important** decisions in your life versus a freakin' computer, your futures do not look bright.

BTW:
If i was a millionaire, i'd buy the mac, then piss on it while filming a vid and then run it over with my car and at the end hold my Dell up in the air as a token of victory. That **** would be so ****in sweet.
Keep up the goodwork guys.

Do you mean an e-machine user? It's cool, don't worry about grammar or spelling; when you own a mac you don't need those skills.Sesshi said:Sounds more like the behaviour of an e-machines user.

Eat your "conebread"
Sesshi said:I have a Mac - with more on the way - but I also own Dell Precisions, Latitudes and Inspirons as well as VAIOs. I think the higher-end Dell hardware is better engineered and the Precision / Latitude support is light years beyond the Applecare, but I can't deny even the greatest Apple fanboy that the OS and applications are superior and the hardware while it may be less reliable gives you a far better feeling when using it.
I guess if you could afford a Mac - or a truly decent PC for that matter - in the first place (and it's hardly as though they cost a fortune) you wouldn't make posts like the above few - you would probably offer up more specific insights to their presumed inferiority.
