Who doesn't have fan issues???

1.6/80HDD....

My fan speeds up with Video playing, but the CPU activity is the same as my macbook... Temps never get above 64c even with 720p video's playing..

If the fan speeds up, it slows down accordingly as the temp falls...

No problems here with my 1.8/64 SSD. I have the feeling that many of the people who are experiencing problems are usually those who have the regular HDs rather than the SSD..... ?

Not true many have the SSd......when i did the review on the SSD, it ran hotter and and the fans ran higher then the 1.6 HDD....thats one reason I kept the HDD

Ok, I went to the apple store and such. They did a COPS reset, again, and apparently, it fixed my problem. Right now, I got upto 83 deg C max, maxed out fans, but both cores running. No more core shutdown so far, but the heatsink is having trouble getting the "heat" from the processor. I might just take this apart and fix the thermal paste problem.
