I'm excited because I feel as if there are so many unknowns this year in comparison to last years keynote. There are a lot of little things we aren't sure of yet. I'm avoiding all rumors from this point on until the event.
I am the opposite and do not think there will be many "WOW" announcements this go around.
I am the same way, but my iphone 7 is starting to really show it age. As a result I am excited to get the new phone.
ITs just a phone, so no. I'm not excited. My kids are anxious as the new phones should push the price of the iPhone 8 down so I'll buy them a new phone
I'm not quite expecting many "WOW" announcements however, I am looking forward to seeing everything being confirmed and there will definitely be something that we didn't know. Fingers crossed. Which iPhone will you be getting this year? and what color?
The XS Plus color does not matter but black or space grey is preferred. Also a new iPad Pro and AW LTE
I’m pretty excited for the keynote tomorrow. Not as excited as a I was for 2014’s or 2017’s but a fair amount. This is the first time we are getting two new iPhone’s with two new display sizes since 2014’s keynote.
I’m looking forward to hearing about the details of the devices, in particular the Xs 6.5”. I’m doubtful the AMOLED panels will have changed much from the X (just about perfect), but there still could be a chance. I really want the 6.5” to use Samsung Display exclusively.

I am really hoping that the prices go as follows:
iPhone XC (6.1") - $699
iPhone XS (5.8") - $899
iPhone XS Plus or "max" - $999
If the plus is over 1k I might not consider it tbh
I probably will either go with a 5.8" in either gold or space gray as I have a silver 8 plus right now.

You put an exclamation point in your post. That’s about as much excitement as I’ve seen out of you in a couple of years.
It's hard for me to imagine them dropping the price of the Xs but the rumors have been pretty consistent (except that one analyst saying the iPhone XR would be $849, which would throw the whole pricing structure out of whack. With that number the Xs+ could start at $1,249 lol, in that case there's no way in hell i'd buy it). I think the pricing structure you listed above is probably the case and its definitely what Apple should do if they want to sell a crap load of phones.
I need a new phone so I'll be getting the Xs+ no matter the price (assuming it's not $1,249 base lol), but what it costs will determine if i'm able to get the 256GB storage or i'll have to stick with the base model and sign up for cloud storage.
Another year... another Apple Event... another crop of devices... I'm more interested in seeing what else comes out than the phones... we all know they're coming, and pretty much what they will look like... the 'talking heads' have already backed away from the rumors about lower prices... so, no... not excited... maybe a little curious.
Interestingly there was a leak of the iPhone header page showing the lineup featuring an iPhone 7 alongside the ‘9’ and XS and XS plus - which suggests the 8 might get the boot? Perhaps Apple will simplify to 7/7+ (A10) 9 (A11) and XS/+ (A12) - it would make sense if the 9 is intended to slot straight in to the price point the 8 would otherwise be offered after this announcement.

I have a family member who is stalking my iPhone X. She knows it is going to be hers and any excitement is her's, going through me.
hmmm that's interesting. The 7 is still a decent device but I don't see them booting the 8 however, I do see them booting the X because the price of the XS is expected to be 899 leaving no purpose for the 2017 X

Prepare to be disappointed, at this point all the leaks suggest an iPhone/ watch/ accessories event - iPad will likely be next month alongside macs?
It's actually 2am now, so this time tomorrow, I'll be getting ready to tune in.

Yeah, it's all just rumours for now. iPad's can be announced whenever - they're what I'll most likely be upgrading this year as oppose to the iPhones which I plan on upgrading in 2019 or 2020.
It does seem a little strange (if it’s a real leak) the closest equivalent I can currently find on their site is of the 8, 8+ and X so it’s not exhaustive of their lineup, it just seems strange to show the new three and a random 7 alongside them...
I'm excited af. At this point I'm really looking forward to learning more details about the new devices. I'm also looking forward to the new Apple Watch bc I might finally be jumping on that bandwagon as well.
