Upgraded from 8+ to XS Max on launch day. Had to return a few days later because the display was causing me to have terrible headaches. Planned to just keep my 8+ til next year, but then wound up going for the XR (white, 64 gb) and I LOVE it!

I recently got my first iPhone (iPhone SE), and I'm perfectly happy with it. I get that it's old/discontinued and probably won't get much more in the way of support, but I look ahead to a possible replacement in the future and I don't see one.

I need a phone that will fit in the pocket of my shorts (I run almost every day). The size of the SE is absolutely perfect for that. Anything bigger is too big. Apple are not catering for my needs, so I'm not sure what I'll end up doing in a couple of years time. (Buy bigger shorts, I guess... :D )

Just curious. I hear of people using two phones simultaneously. How is that done. Do you need two lines or just swap sims back and forth?
Maybe there are better or easier ways to do it but I was swapping my SIM back-and-forth between the XR and XS.

Bought the 128 XR on launch and then got the 256 XS. Just shipped back the XR and keeping the XS.

I usually just swap SIM cards back and forth between devices.

I got the Xs via IUP a week after it was released. It's been perfect for me, so I had no need to exchange it.

Got the XS Max 256 GB Gold yesterday. Still downloading apps. I hate that Apple took away the ability to transfer apps using iTunes. My measly 3 Mbps Internet takes forever. I find this size perfect for me as I am coming from a Note8.

Yellow XR 128 GB.

The XS Max was too big, and the XS battery life wasn’t good enough. The XR is still slightly too big, but I’m still loving it.

Oh, and the battery life is insane. 4h19m of screen time, over 2 hours of Apple Music streaming (screen mostly off), and the significant majority of usage was over LTE (not Wifi), and I still had 50% battery life when I plugged my phone in last night!!

Both me and my husband have the XS Max in Gold (512 GB) and we absolutely love it. Upgraded from the 8+. We upgrade every year but we might not next year, unless Apple pulls a new design or has a new feature, we are considering saving some money and putting that towards the new IPad Pro next year. As our IPads are showing their age. :)
