I usually avoid cases, but ended up getting the Smart Folio for my new Mini 7, along with the silicon case for my iPhone 16. Got them both in black (space gray iPad and black iPhone). Probably won’t use them often, but since they were on sale, I decided to grab them just in case.

I can see using the Smart Folio when I’m on the go. I think I like it better than the sleeve I have, originally bought for the 6.

I would have gotten the smart folio, but the idea of having the sides exposed all the time made me worry.

I kept my mini 6 in the folio for 3 years. I’m fairly careful but not immune to occasional bumps. When I traded it in the Apple Store salesperson said it looked like new. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you are extra careless

Well I decided to upgrade after all. Ordered and I will go and pick it up after work this evening. I'm going to use my Smart Folio case I was using for my mini 6. I've just ordered some glass screen protectors and will have to order a new USB C charging brick as I've seen I won't be getting one in the box.
does the case fit? i'm tempted to upgrade as well. more for the storage, ram and apple intelligence option
