Does it make the light bigger or move it out of the grill? No. So it doesn't "fix" the issue.

And you can keep saying the One is better all you want to make yourself feel better.

Doesn't make it true.

Better build quality, better screen, better processor, better graphics performance, better night time camera, better speakers, better audio chip, better ROM availability, and better durability. Better phone by default. Whereas the only thing the X wins at is...better day camera. Yay.

And yes BLN lights up the capacitive button back lights which are really bright on the One. Those lights act as notification lights.

I just got through playing with the x in stores and was very impressed. I was surprised at how good it felt in the hand and the responsiveness it showed in the tasks I was able to make it run through in about 5 minutes of play. One thing I didn't like though was the glossy plastic incasing the screen. For some reason Motorola switched from the soft touch matte finish of the back for glossy plastic that makes the phone look a little cheap in m opinion.

Edit: I also thinks it comical that HTC can't add one more base color for a full RGB notification light. It's one of the features I, personally, enjoy the most out of android and one that keeps me from buying an HTC phone.

Again, keep saying it over and over to justify your choice, but it doesn't make it true.

I'm fully aware what BLN is as I used it on my S2. That's not a notification light. It's a workaround for a poorly implemented notification light.

Anyway, I'm done talking about this. There's no changing your mind (not that I care to) and 6 months from now you'll still be trying to make yourself feel better about a phone you're stuck with for 2 years.

Do some research, actually put your hands on the X, and you'll be dumping that One the first chance you get. Mark my words.

With that, I'm done. No more replies from me. :p

Lol oh yeah I'm sure I'll just fall in love with that weak processor, slower RAM, horrible plastic design, worse screen, terrible speakers, and a general sense of the phone being essentially what it is: a budget phone released one year too late to be competitive.

Cya.
