fine for me as well, although they still haven't fixed the sound bug that shifts the speaker balance unexpectedly

Still running Panther
But happy

Is it just me or does typing in CAPS using cap locks and shift no longer produces lowercase letters?

10.4.3 ROCKS.

i just tried that, you're correct, wth....

I've still got Panther on one partition, just in case. I went back to 10.3.9 once already because everything went flaky on me. I'm still not 100% confident. Strange things keep happening: Mail quits regularly, Illustrator and Photoshop don't like playing together or with iPhoto, Spotlight misses things, and so on. I'm only really running it on sufferance.

Oh, yeh. And spotlight does work for me very well. iChat is just CRAZY on me. And I have had a glitch in itunes where you close it, and everything goes away yet the triangle is still there on the dock. And I can't reopen it!

I've had a bit more crashing with 10.4.3. Safari seems to crash a tiny bit more but nothing that starts driving me crazy. I also beach ball with AdiumX sometimes. Other than that everything is great.

My iMac 800 takes much longer to boot now. It takes around 1 minute for it to get to Finder, whereas it only took about 30 seconds prior to 10.4.3.

Wait, when did the reverse-caps-lock thing EVER work on a Mac? Certainly wasn't the case any time I accidentally "tried" it in 10.3, and I just tested 10.4.2 and it definitely doesn't work there, either.

As for 10.4.3, it hasn't been very long yet but it seems to have rounded up pretty much any little glitches that had been bugging me under 10.4.2. I'll withhold judgement, but it seems to have been a success from my standpoint.

I am having some trouble with auto-sleep on my G5 (not my work G4), but I'm fairly certain that existed before the upgrade.

I didn't think any Mac OS had this!? Not that i'd ever noticed in the last 6 years or so!

My dock locked up a few times during the first day or two, I've definitely had more stalls than I did with 10.4.2 but it seems to have settled down now and is working pretty well.

i have had quite a bit of trouble with Safari quitting for no reason on a java app and when waking from sleep. Otherwise, everything has worked quite well. But something must be done about Safari, I had never had any trouble with it under 10.4 until now.

No, 4.3 worked fine for me. No bugs so far :) I even noticed a higher performance, especially in Open GL and GUI (Xbench)

Over all no real issues or changes with the exception of my speakers cracking everytime I wake my g5 up from sleep. Kinda annoying but not a real issue.

I thought previous Safari versions sucked. This is the first time I've used it consistantly.
