I’ve had a reply back from YouTube technical support, and in all fairness they did get back quite quickly. The first reply was the usual stock script monkey one completely ignoring everything I had said in my original message, but the second one said he would forward it to the developers as “an option not showing on any of my devices.”
Personally, I don’t think there is anything in that response nor do I think anything will come of it.
