5.5" is way too big (cue sexual joke/insult). I think the sweet spot in screen size is really 4.3-4.5" and would love to see more flagships released within that range.

Yeah I kind of agree. I think the Samsung Galaxy S II had the most ideal display.

Just wondering if any long time iPhone users will be getting the Note II once it hits AT&T next month?

I am quite tempted.

I love the idea of an all-in-one device. Seems like you could use that thing with a bluetooth keyboard + bluetooth mouse and have a mini laptop replacement! :p

1.6Ghz Exynos Quad Core Processor

The att Note-II only has a dual core (instead of quad core) qualcomm to support LTE, right?

Nope, 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos AND LTE. :D

Can't wait until they're available.

Wow, now that is some serious nerd porn right there if I've ever seen any! Gotta go get a mop for the drool puddle I just made :p

Can't wait to try one out myself. Thank's for letting me know.

For me, it is between the Note II and the rumored HTC Droid DLX(or its supposed Nexus variant -
Nexus 5). I just wish that both companies would hurry up and make their announcements with all of the details (especially US pricing and availability).

I need to decide if the S-Pen is worth it to me.

I would assume the screen would be better on the HTC. A long with build quality. The rumors have fallen flat for anymore Nexus devices besides the LG unfortunately. I would consider a Nexus 5 but not a sense branded version.

I am trying to think if I would use s pen as well. I could take take during meetings at work and at church. Would I actually do that is the question.

I was looking into that as well. But I'm growing impatient, and there isn't much news on it as of now. But what I have seen is there won't be a micro sd slot and that's a deal breaker.

That 1080 res screen though would be amazing

It's about 8cm wide by 15 cm high. (that's ~ 3.1" x 5.9") - bigger than the S3.

However, it will still fit into (most) shirt pockets, which is what sets it apart from 7" tablets. You need the big screen to get any use out of the pen. It also makes it great for in-car GPS.

You really need to go to a shop and hold one to decide whether it is for you or not.

I was thinking about it, but went and played with the original Note at the store and it is just too big.

The GN 1 looks big and feels big.

The GN 2 looks big but feels good/comfortable. Try it first. Don't rate it off the GN1 at least.

All I know is, that each day I grow more and more sick of my 4S. Yes, this phone might be a little too big, it packs more than any iphone could ever have. That makes me crave it. :D

i am just preordered my note 2 for rogers here in canada. I've had the iphone 5 since release, and i'm sick of the battery life. I've gone threw two replacements for battery life and the second phone is giving me signal and call quality issues. I've already been issued a return from apple, and the supposed release date is october 28, so can't wait. I've had a lot of iphones and androids, and android has really caught up, even surpassed ios a little. My phone before the iphone 5 was the international GS3, and the only thing ill miss from the iphone is the itunes store, which is far superior here in canada. The apps are about equivalent no real difference these days.

Having to pay for apps again is one negative, but I moved from the 4s to a Note last year and would do it again. If Apple had a 4.8" + true 720p phone I'd go back as I use the iPad so much would prfer the phone to have the same os , calendar, etc.

To those who look at a Note in store and think its too big, I was the same.
If your used to a 4s or even a 5 the Note looks massive, but I found after a few days of use that preception goes. Now when I look at a Apple phone they look so small.

How close is the GS3 camera to the 5 camera? Camera quality will likely dictate my choice. Thanks.

Oh, & the Nexus 7 is just plain fun.

Having played with the S3 for a couple of weeks I think the S3 camera is poor. If someone is moving whilst a picture is being Aiken of them then you will have a dry poor quality picture on the S3 IMO, whereas this doesn't happen on the iPhone 5 or even the 4S.

I don't know my terminology when it comes to photography but the S3 pictures weren't showing much colour and were a lot whiter too I thought.

Too big in my opinion. I laugh everytime I see someone holding it up to their ear talking on it. Almost as big as the persons head.

Maybe in the land of small people! I've used the Note and have seen plenty of people using them, and they don't look funny at all. WHat looks funny is a large person trying frantically to send a text message on an iphone while carefully trying to touch the correct characters on the tiny iphone keyboard. :D

Keep drinking that Koolaid dude.

Bingo. I too moved to the Note, but then switched to the S3. Couldn't be happier. My son uses the Iphone 5 and loves it. Choice is wonderful.
