Now that feral interactive has transported Total War games to the Mac I have played them. Napoleon being my favorite. I also play several Civil War games and Battlefront games. Played Diablo 1-3 and of course WOW. Don't play twitchy games on any system just mostly WarGames.

I avoid games in OS X like the plague; terrible performance.

Luckily for me I've got a Hackintosh so I do all of my gaming the proper way; Windows.

I do Steam in-home streaming to game on my Mac
That is pretty cool... from a PC to Mac or Mac to Mac? I just picked up a NVidia Shield Console to try out Gamestream from my gaming rig in my office/game room to my 60" TV in the living room. We are cable cutters... so if it failed I could use it as another set top box. I Gamestreamed The Witcher 3, Tomb Raider 2013, Battlefield 4 and Batman on my 60" TV, and games look amazing. I don't see or feel any lag in gameplay. Even the NVidia's subscription (currently free) GRID game stream is pretty good. Not perfect, but games are playable. Streaming games from one PC to another PC/Mac... or TV in another room is pretty cool. Allows me to game in peace away from my wife and kids. :p

I put "Sometimes". I play indie titles that I have for both Windows/OSX on Steam. Stuff like Hotline Miami, Pillars of Eternity, Divinity, Darkest Dungeon, etc. OSX is just not as good as Windows for gaming. Metal for El Cap might change that, but my 2011 isn't even supported for Metal, so meh.... :(

PC to Mac. I have a server rig in the TV cabinet that has a graphics card passed through to a Windows virtual machine. I can either game on the TV or stream to my Macbook upstairs!

What's that?

You basically time shift the game on another system. For example, let's say you have a nice gaming PC in the office, and a MacBook Air in the living room. Using streaming, you could play the PC only games on the MBA as long as you're logged into the same Steam account on both the PC and the MBA. It basically lets the PC do the rough stuff and transmits video to your MBA. Your MBA sends the inputs to the PC.

Currently installed ready to play next week when I'm off:

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham City
Borderlands 2
Cities in Motion
Cities in Motion 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Portal
Portal 2
Portal Stories: Mel
Sid Meier's Civilization V
Space Hulk
Surgeon Simulator
Toki Tori 2+
Tomb Raider
Xcom: Enemy Unknown

Plenty for me :)

I had no idea. So you control the PC game through your Mac, interesting. How much lag does this introduce?
Thanks.

I haven't noticed any lag. But I've only used it a few times to test out. On a few games I have that are PC only (X-Wing, for example) I could not get it to read my flight stick. But on others (Alien Isolation, The Evil Within), no problems.

Kind of like that service OnLive that was around before Sony bought them.

Depends on your internet also. Our whole house is wired, so all TV's, streaming devices, and computers are connected by wire. NVidia sheild console gamestream from my Gaming Rig to my TV has no noticible lag during game play. When I use wifi... I get an occational stutter on the stream. What's nice about Steam in-home stream is my kid play steam games on my gaming rig on his low powered computer. Downside is I can't multitask on my PC while he is playing. Game streaming is great... gives you options to play games in different rooms/tv/computers.

I put yes.

WoW, D3, SC2, TESO, Deus Ex, the two current Civs (V and BE) and this War of Mine. Recently purchased Grid 2. I've got a couple more in Steam which I had as carry overs from my Windows box.

I really DO miss some of my games on Windows: Morrowind / Oblivion / Skyrim, Stalker(s) and the Battlefield series. I've still got my Win8.1, 4.2ghz Ivy Bridge box (barely a year old when I replaced it with my iMac) tucked under the desk but no space to attach back on to a monitor on the desk lol. I'll have to work out what I do about that.

PS3 and PS4 gaming happens when I'm not in the mood for WoW etc.

I did play games under OS X for a long time, but it's just not worth it anymore for the most part. Everything game-wise works so much better in Windows 10 than any version of OS X that it's not even funny. I do play World of Warcraft in OS X if I'm feeling too lazy to reboot.
