Since we are asking for the iPhones we want then...

I want a 3G, 300GB iPhone on Verizon, unlimited calling, with no contract and a net $500 dollar rebate that runs MacOS X and Windows Vista, any application, with a quad-core processor running at 12GHz a holographic interocular display with biofeedback multitouch and polylingual voice recognition and...

Oh well, I'll settle for my 8GB model that just says "Hello World!" until my dream model arrives from eBay!

Ooh.. the all -white back is mine.

It is a bit disappointing you have to get the Colorware logo; for the money you pay you should get it as you want it.

That's pretty cool. Definitely a way to stand out. I wouldnt mind getting my school colors done, Garnet and Black.

Colorware is very customer-focused... spam them with polite e-mails saying you think it would be better without the logo. I mean, they're customizers for God's sake. They're likely to listen to you.

I dunno... I do kind of think it looks better with the paint than the mixture of the chrome and the two tones on the back. But then I'm sure what Apple does next will be even hotter. :p

will they ship iphones to canadian addresses?

if they will, all we need up here is for someone to figure out how to unlock the phone and for a price (phone and service) we can have the iphone in canada delivered to our door.

the stupid colorware logo is very sad, you pay 150$ and then they still have the colorware logo on it.

i've seen this today on crave.cnet.com today, they're really nice, i would take the ferrari version with red and black

i know while this could solve the scratching bezel problem this seems like something to do when your iphone is old looking. I have to say though i don't like colorware, they charge too much and you have no idea what you're really getting. I almost did something through them and they wouldn't even send me samples. For that price they should. Plus i don't want their logo, and their paint looks way too glossy. Anyone use them?

Wow, really cool! I like the white version, and after playing around on their site, I am also digging yellow and black. Looks really sporty. :)

Hmm... maybe someday I will do this...

I wouldn't do it now, but once my iphone got all scratched up on the back/chrome, I'd definitely consider it.

I gave them a call since I was having issues with the website and I learned that the company doesn't include Alaska or Hawaii in its areas to ship to: they have to do something special to ship it to these two states, like increase the price by a million dollars.

Sigh~

However, for those who have yet to buy an iphone and are considering on painting their phone, this is the company to go through. The company makes certain that the screen is perfect before they begin the paint job. Perfect as in no dead pixels or any other nasty issues. So, if you are planning on buying an iphone and are worried about getting a bad screen; this would be a good option for you. Definitely a good option for me.

Has anyone done this yet? I'm thinking about it, but I don't want to pay a premium price for something that doesn't look as good, takes a long time, etc.

I would so do this (basically all black except apple logo - either white or chrome), nice clean and simple especially when the screen is turned off :)
