i don't see how funky punch is fine but as soon as the same idea is applied to a different game it's suddenly a terrible idea? obviously any fighting game will have to be slightly limited for the iphone controls, which is why i mentioned 2-4 buttons instead of the original 6.

nevertheless, each to their own i guess.

Because Funky Punch's controls are NOT fine. After you've been playing it a while they become almost tolerable...because the game is rather slow-paced compared to Street Fighter II.
