I can wait until whenever they’re released. But I’m currently using a 2017 iPad Pro, lol.

Why would I buy another iPad Pro 10.5 when I have two.

I will buy the new iPad Pro 11.5 this September, probably two of them.
Curious, one personal and one work?

Lol, I've got multiple iPads but that's only because I keep my old ones after I upgrade. :p

I’m waiting. I sold my 12.9 2nd gen pro because I know I want to downsize, but I wasn’t willing to buy new with something possibly on the horizon. I am using a 2018 iPad to tide me over til whenever the new ones come out. If we don’t see any in the fall, I’ll wait til spring. I’m kinda liking my little portable guy!

I’m not even waiting or buying anything new. iPad for me is not an essential device. It’s more like a extra device to cater for the screen gap between my MacBook and my iPhone

I’m currently on the basic iPad 2017 and don’t see any reason to update until that falls apart or Apple stops supporting.

Lol, it's the opposite for me. I look forward to iPad upgrades. Meanwhile, short of SSD upgrades, I haven't upgraded my laptop in forever. The iPhone, I even resent having to replace since I'm only doing it for battery and not because I want/need a new phone.

Mind, using the iPad as primary device has already helped prolong my iPhone's battery. Before, shorter battery life was noticeable by year one and then got to unbearable by year 2 (just in time for upgrades). Now, with the $29 battery replacement program, I might be able to eke out another 3 years of battery from my iPhone 7.

I've found that I don't use my iPad Pro 10.5" very much. Don't get me wrong - it's a great device and does everything I want. But I use my 8 and X phones more except for reading books; what I've got will suffice 'til the battery dies.

My 12.9 Pro is by far my most used and loved device. I use it more than a laptop and get most of my work done on it. I make it my mission to buy the new Pro every year. It’s justified in my line of work and frankly, everything Apple does with the iPad line really speaks to me. I was so disappointed that the series 3 wasn’t announced at WWDC and I’m feeling uneasy if it’s announced at the same time as the new iPhone... Too much money in one go.

Yeah, I’m waiting. Patiently waiting. But there may be a limit. If Apple doesn’t update the ipad pros this year, i will probably buy the current 10.5” pro. I guess there are 3 possible dates in 2018 for the new ipad pros. In September with the new iphones. In October. Or in November right before the holidays. The sooner the better for me.

I think if the new ipad pros don’t come this year, they will arrive in either March of 2019 or at WWDC in June of 2019.

I’m hoping for September...but i have a feeling it’ll be November. Sigh.

After WWDC, I decided to "wait" by finding a good deal on a 2018 iPad. (Which turns out to be pretty fantastic for an entry-level device since last time I owned one; for my purposes it's almost functionally identical to the original iPad Pro. With it, I actually wonder whether I'll feel the need to hasten to the latest and greatest when it arrives.)

I’m still loving my iPad Pro 10.5 but if there’s a 11 inch option I will be buying one without a doubt.

Will get another cellular with a keyboard and Smart Cover

Kuo today reaffirmed Face ID iPad(s?) coming later this year. No mention of change in screen size or form factor though, so I’m guessing that’s not happening this year. Were there rumors for that or was it just people wishing?

Not looking to update my iPads personally. I like my 12.9 and mini—bezels, Touch ID and all. (There are some other hardware changes I would like.)

I got the first ipad 9.7" pro version. I'll wait till the unveil and decide if they put enough new stuff in there. My previous iPad was the iPad 4.

I mirror The Chosen One in my current & previous iPads & will also wait & see what the confirmed choices are before deciding on my next pad.

Holding out for now. I didn’t want it to be released around the same time as the Watch and iPhone, but it’s the top Apple device I want to replace.
