EXCEPT for the hand clapping, you're not missing much. I miss Jobs when he was the lead in the road show. His "Oh, there's one more thing..." is this something that Timmy can't pull off.
I happened to take Wednesday - Friday off this week (unrelated), so I am good to watch it from my couch at home.
ill be locked in my office free to watch...but i work on a windows box and cant install other browsers so i guess im stuck watching on my phone?
It'll be 3am and yes, i'll be at work. I'll probably get called out somewhere so i'll probably miss bits and pieces of it.
I will be, but luckily I own my own business so I actually cater lunch in and throw it up on an 80” TV for the office to watch since everyone enjoys watching.

It makes a difference for me. As I wrote in my original post, watching it live with the rest of the world is way more exciting, and I don’t have time to catch up after because i work all day long for the next couple of days.
This. Some have said they intentionally tell their employer they can’t work because of An iPhone Keynote? Especially when Apple will have the event allowed for playback on their website. I enjoy the iPhone Keynote as much as everybody else does, but some have their priorities clearly backwards.
I agree. I think Apple with replay the Keynote on demand 24 hours a day, most of Wednesday and 24/7 Thursday and Friday with Preorders staring Friday night/Saturday at 12:01 AM.
Because of the time zone thing, I will surely sleep the entire Apple event session. Plus, it is not too much of a loss watching blog posts, comments from YouTube and other websites including macrumors, instead of watching the event live.

I don’t think I’ll be able to watch live. Me and the girlfriend will come home and watch a replay. I’m gonna stay the heck away from twitter and MR etc all day, I want to be surprised!
You can have someone on the ground tune your frequency and have them update you through your headset real time. Just saying...

It would start around 10.30 pm in India. The 1st hour has been boring for me for the last couple of years, so I will skip it this time, get a good sleep and read up tomorrow.
I will be, probably will be catching up when I get home. It’s an exciting day, but at the end of it all, I just want to know what’s coming out, when, the price, and when I can preorder. Sometimes the keynotes can be a little long and drawn out.
Be home from work with my feet up as long as I get no punctures or bike malfunctions on the way home!
Finish work at 5pm so I've got a hour to pop to the chippy, get back home, eat my tea, feed the cat and settle down for the fun to start.
Depending on my schedule, I will be able to watch on my phone, read updates on the computer or won’t be able to join in the fun.
