I am a big Jack Bauer fan so when the wife offered to buy me any watch I wanted for out anniversary, I had her get the Black Seal MTM Special Ops watch. It has become by far my single favorite watch I have ever owned. Its built like a tank.

I have one of there watched, I may order a new one latter.

Which one do you have? I love my watch so much that I am tempted to get a 2nd one. I really like the Black Hawk model with the velcro strap. Its not as nice as the one I have, its just something a little more playful for those times when I am camping, hiking etc..

[^^]

I have that one, with the metal strap (black). I want the Black Warrior Titanium next.

Here's my watch :p
it was kind of pricy but I love all the extra features, I don't like wearing things on my wrist so this works great as a pocket watch :D

LOL, figures. I will definitely be picking one up later this year. I am about to make a couple of big photo and telescope purchases so I have to put off buying it towards the end of the year otherwise my wife will come down on me something fierce, especially since she just bought me the nicer model a few months back.

The Black Warrior is also really nice then again now that I think about it their entire line is awsome and you cant go wrong regardless of what model you choose. I dont think ill ever buy anything else.

Yea, very good watches. I like mine, especially at night. I can easily light up my keys, so I can see witch one I need. Lots of good uses, public building and the power goes out. Saved my ass a few times...

As far as a nice watch goes... I someday want to buy a Rolex, but only for occasions. Also as a collector and something to pass on.

Yes, but will hot girls/foxy cougar ladies compliment you on your "watch"?

LOL well I'm not really looking for compliments, (is that why people buy expensive watches?) but my friends think it's cool when I can play movies/shows on their TVs :p

Also by Wed of next week my new watch will be:

I could care less what people say. I buy nice watches because a nice watch is a great thing to have. A nice watch doesn't just look nice, its an invaluable tool in many situations and its something I have come to appreciate immensely. You can tell a lot about someone from the watch they wear.

Really, what does our watches say about us?

Which model do you have? In all honesty I wasn't expecting them to be as nice as they are. I mean dont get me wrong I expected them to be nice but these things are bad a*s. It really blew me away how solidly built these things are. They really are built like a tank which is obviously why so many in the military and special ops wear them.

I dont know why but I have never cared for Rolex. I mean their certainly nice and all but I see watches all the time that I would much rather have. I would go Omega over Rolex. However I do understand where your coming from as there are some watches out there that I would like to get as well and be able to pass on. My father passed 2 pocket watches on to me, a Hamilton 992B 21 Jewel Railway Special and an 18k gold Patek Philippe and they are nothing short of stunning. I had them appraised like 5 years back and their combined value was over $23,000. Ill obviously pass them along to my son but I would like to get a watch to pass down as well, something that I purchased.
