I was ok with my 7, but not with it’s broken mics. I will more than likely use my xs max for a minimum of 2 years, but maybe 3. My plan was to use my 7 for 3 years, almost made it. I did use my 4S for 3 years.. I still have it but I don’t miss it. Was my first phone heh..

Who is using the oldest iPhone as their daily driver? No cheating claiming you use your 3GS daily as an iPod but carry a Pro Max as an example! :)
What is your reasoning for not upgrading? Looking forward to your replies!

SE. 16GB.

Reason? It just works.

Disclaimer: my son just sent me a FREE (I sure as hell couldn’t have bought it!) 11. But I haven’t ported number yet.

I don’t have such drastic battery issues, even though it’s the same original one from 2017. Battery life is short obviously, maybe 4 hours screen on time on a charge tops (unless it’s on airplane mode). But I bought a battery pack and for 20$ problem is solved. Will use it with the next phone too.

I think I could adjust to 11 size and somewhat ugly design after a couple of months... I just don’t really want to. Here’s hoping they deliver with the SE2 and I won’t have to :)

Edit: this was supposed to be a reply to rui no onna, post #22

aside: as for your problematic lightning plug, i would suggest taking a toothpick and gently cleaning it of debris. i have to do that annually on all of my phones (over the years) as lint can get packed in there and cause connection issues.
After answering your post the first time, I thought 'what the hell', and went at it again with a toothpick, this time much more aggressively, and surprise surprise, the junk came out in big amounts. It made a huge difference, and I am now syncing it with my iMac for the first time in 6 months! Thank you very much!

yay! i'm glad you tried it a second time and had success. i too have found it amazing how much can get packed in there and in my experience it does take considerable effort and persistence (while at the same time trying not to apply too much pressure and not hurt the pins).

anyway, hooray for you! happy clean lightning port, happy charging!

The iPhone 10 has two cameras, and the iPhone 11 has three cameras so the iPhone 12 might have _ camera(s)

Not to jack a thread, but after having this same issue, I actually keep my phone in a drawstring sun-glass pouch now. Helps to keep the pocket lint and other debris out of the port. Been doing that for a little bit now and it seems to help.

Was using the se earlier till End jan 20. Sold it off when I realised the potential release of the se2 will kill off its resale price.

100% battery. 128gb space grey and almost in a new phone condition. Kept it in an otter box since purchase day. Sold it off at quite a good price.

that being said I still miss that little piece of legend at times.
