I really don't get the purpose of this thread,its a failed attempt to diss the gs4s available storage space but the funny part is Samsung has an option for every segment.

They make a 16gb,32gb and 64gb and have many choices on screen sizes to fit every persons screen needs.What is wrong with having options and expandable storage on galaxy phones?

We have galaxy phones from 4.3in all the way to 5.5 so please op tell us what Samsung is doing so wrong to sell 100 million phones a year

Whats wrong is not Samsung but the carrier not offering larger capacities even though they are available. As a result you pay stupid prices on eBay and the sorts. Without rooting you got no way to move apps on the S3 either and I am struggling. Two games + SatNav taking almost 5GB. Which is stupid. I dont whinge though as I can always delete games I am not playing. Let's face it. If I'd have 64GB, I'd use it because I can and would be at Square 1 at some point :)

I get by on 16GB, I don't take many photos and only have about 4GB of music. I don't have moor than 3-4 games installed.

Lol I don't even have a one. And I am probably not going to get it but good try.

Also there is no 32 or 64 GB s4 in Canada. Lucky 'Muricans.

Where is the sign up for the million? I could use some.

Oh and I am pissed about Samsung not giving me a 32 GB s4, even though they do make it. Where did I say the one is "better"? Read much?

And finally, is that cm rom daily driver stuff or bug ridden? I know the monent I get a s4 I will load cm or aokp for sure.

Does the camera take a beating in cm?

I am also wary of SD cards because of the vibrant eating up sd cards for lunch and there is already a thread on XDA about gs4 doing the same. I don't want to load my media on a 64 GB card and see it "poof" the next day because of "sd card damaged". Unless I have a reassurance there is a card that will not meet the same fate or if Samsung released a patch for that.

Also I own a bloody iPhone which makes me go nuts because of terrible two hand typing. So many typos to fix. Gah. Need bigger screen nao.

I have an unofficial CM ROM so I don't know about the official one, but for me NFC doesn't work, as for the camera, it still largely works except for me the HDR feature.

Oh so now we are worried about the SD card being eaten by your gs4,man just give it up this is getting so old.

If you want a freaking 32gb gs4 just buy an unlocked phone on eBay and use it in Canada. They are selling for msrp on eBay and not inflated.

I just downloaded 2 torrent movies on my gs4 and they were saved fine to my SD card and I have never had an issue with them.the people that have issue are people on tweaked kernels and butchered roms that mess with memory timings to increase phone speed.

I'm out and can't wait for your next Samsung rant

PS I'm trying to get a big bonus from Samsung this month so its worth a shot.here is an unlocked 32gb gs4 and the guy ships to Canada for 580 shipped!

I wouldn't mind 32GB being the new standard, but I've never really felt cramped on my 16GB iPhone for as long as I can remember. I upload photos to Dropbox when I'm on WiFi, only sync about 5-6GB of music. I have 4GB of apps (131 of them) installed. Honestly, the only thing I'd do if I got a 32GB iPhone would be to up the space limit on my smart playlists.

Nope, an iPhone 5 16 GB, which annoys me. Both the screen and storage as "small" for my commute media "needs".

How did you go from hating on a note 2 to loving a gs4 anyway?

Im using a 16gig Nexus 4 and im getting by fine, all my music and photos are in the cloud. Only my apps and games are stored on the phone itself so i have 6.5 gigs free.

How do you upgrade the memory in the iPhone 5? I can't seem to find the SD card slot. I want to be able to use larger-capacity SD cards beyond 64 GB, and to be able to swap cards if necessary. Where's the SD or MicroSD card slot? It must be hidden somewhere on the casing!

For what it's worth, I agree with you. All flagship phones should come with a minimum 32gb, it's the reason I didn't buy the Nexus 4. Leave the 16 and 8gb options for the lower priced units.

Sucks that the 32 and 64gb variants aren't available to you.

I think the best gripe here is if the phone is made in 32+ gb sizes but not offered on contract where you live.

Aside from that....deal with it. :)

I don't know what's a bigger rip off. Then amount more internal space is or not buying the most you can.

Take the iPhone for example.

iPhone 16gb is 649. For 100 dollars more you get 16 more gb. Then for 100 more then that you get 32 more gb.

It's almost like 32 gb is the biggest rip off in this example because you paid 100 more for only 16 more gb. For 200 more then the 16 gb model you get 48 more gb.

iPhone 32gb
100 / 16 = 6.25 dollars per extra gb

iPhone 64gb
200 / 48 = 4.17 dollars per extra gb

Now that I'm thinking about it.

iPad 128gb
300 / 112 = 2.68 dollars per extra gb

Makes sense to get as little as possible or as much as possible until the price differences become a little more realistic. I'm surprised a company doesn't only offer 64gb and sell it at 16gb prices unless internal memory is really that expensive (don't know).

Or you can spend 30 bucks on a 64gb SD card and stick in in the gs4 and set it up to save all your music, pictures,videos and internet downloads there

I think that's perfectly fine. I have a 64 gb card in my old Xoom full of movies. But I'd just prefer it to be pre installed. I put it in and have yet to remove it years later. But that's just me.

I get by on 16GB as well. I don't need to keep all of my music with me, nor my videos. Don't have many apps either.
