Why would you create 6 models instead of 3 and allow tethering from your iPhone? It seems having another device with a 3g option is redundant. This is almost making me think about getting a regular dumb cell phone, and an iPad with 3g.
Besides, what if you don't have an iPhone or anything to tether to?

Even so, I don't want the hassle of tethering. Sometimes, I don't want to have my iPhone with me.
